Princes
The laughing trio met today. With special guests Harrison and Spencer. And guest of honor, Taylor (Harrison's girlfriend).
First off.
I FINALLY met one of the girlfriends. And Taylor is absolutely lovely. Truly. She is fun and beautiful and a sweetheart. I enjoyed laughing with her and watching her and Harrison interact. Four more to go!
Secondly.
My girls get me. I can't stress that enough. We are just so in sync and always have a good time around each other. We forget all our issues. And then we rant about them. And we get salty. And we laugh. And we forget again. And we just enjoy each other, linking arms and all. Because only those girls could make a beautiful dinner and then tolerate the five year old I become when I see pretty Christmas lights. Bridesmaid status. That's what that is.
Third.
Harrison is always good for a laugh. Spencer has become QUITE handsome. Seriously. Good for him. The girls also brought up how much they liked Evan and how he was a good kid. His brother is also pretty swell. We mentioned Noah, and how he will probably be president one day. I spent the time before seeing everyone talking to Jonathan and JuanJosé, both sending me love and making plans to see me (some more immediate than others, obviously). I spent the afternoon telling Jason that, although it probably shouldn't be at the cabaret, I looked forward to singing with him some day. There was a party for a girl in church today (which I could not attend because I had made plans obviously), and as soon as we got the invite, I got texts from Fabrizio and Hector asking me if I would go. For Christmas, Eric dropped a gift off at my house on my doorstep: a keychain that I actually REALLY wanted and meant a lot to both of us for RvB reasons. And during this break I also plan on seeing Alex, Storm, Brian, and all the rest. And then of course there's all my boys on campus. They're princes. They are my princes. I'm surrounded by a bunch of attractive, fun, kind, humorous, wonderful men. And I am not the romantic lead. I'm the princess who is lucky enough to go on their adventures with them. They will all fall in love with their own princesses, and I will be oh so happy for them. But, for now, I can walk around with them arm in arm and show them off because I'm so proud of the incredible people that they are, and the world ought to know.
