Guidance Helps.
Sometimes I get upset with my church. Usually it's because they say or do something dumb. Like seriously, I love them and they are such a great support in my life. But every now and again they say something really offensive or, sorry to say, they're just wrong about whatever it is they're talking about. It's happened before and I'm sure, bless their hearts, it will happen again. But this wasn't one of those times.
I was annoyed and a little angry at today's lesson. But let me be clear. It was anger and annoyance at myself because I knew they were right. They were so right. And I wanted so badly to ignore them and keep on living in blissful ignorance. But the world doesn't work like that. And I'm so glad they reminded me of where I need to be heading because I'm going to be so much better off for it. Seriously, this is going to be a positive change. Always good to know you're not alone.
