A More Formal Thank You

God gave me you. I don't know how he decided I was worthy of such a great gift. But God gave me you. He brought you into my life. He allowed me to stay in yours. And in a ridiculously trying time, He allowed me to see you. Handsome, funny, loving, sweet, wonderful you. Your hugs are amazing. Your sense of humor tickles me. And boy did I miss that smile. You came at the perfect time. But to be quite honest, any time would have been the perfect time. You're one of the most important people in my life. Right behind my sister and my niece. And nothing in the world can mean as much to me as this. Thank you for sharing 24 hours with me. I'd do it all again in a heartbeat. Cold and all. I'll make it up to see you someday. I made that promise and I'm keeping it. I refuse to go another seven years not seeing you. Thank you for making absolutely everything so much better just by being in my life.
