It's Finally the Weekend!

We're traveling so it's gonna be exhausting but I'm just SO HAPPY this week is over. Work was hard and I'm happy that I don't have to think about it for a few days. Hooray for breaks!

Today was also femenil (women's bible study). We're divided into teams this year, so that everyone gets involved in the service at some point. My team went for February. I'm so happy with it! So much love and chocolate and hearts and cuteness. A lovely message and a whole lot of fun. The team leader put me in charge of running games. I guess because I am the least timid, so they all sang hymns or read passages or presented gifts. Enter Sammy, hostess extraordinaire. Not really, I'm just loud and obnoxious and not afraid of anything haha. They seem to like that about me, and it worked to get people excited so yay! My prize was a delicious slice of cheesecake.

Also MY NEW SHIRT IS HERE and I kinda love it. It's just a tshirt that says "I will not tear down other girls, I will support them". Which is what I'm here for. A strong February mood. A strong every day mood even

Women's Group

My first real Bible Study with the women's group. It was lovely. It was a sweet message that, when I am a wife and a mother, I hope to hold close to my heart. I'm grateful for these ladies that show me love every day. And I'm happy to be in a safe place where I know people care and want the best for me. We're all growing together, and that's an amazing thing. And the best part is we all have fun doing it!

Foodie Life

Few things are nicer than when you're hungry at work and someone brings in home cooked goodness. I was blessed. That stuff was goooooooood. Enchiladas, she called them, but to me, I'd just call them Tostadas? I dunno man, but Maria is on point and I appreciate her face. And her cooking. Mwuahh.

7 Days of Perfection

Bible study today was MUCH needed. I'm just so grateful for this group. They are so smart and show me things I never would have even considered in the text. The word really is such a gift. To know God in this way is an incredible blessing. I will forever be grateful for God's perfect creation, for the darkness and the light in the world and in me, for the ways He asks me to use my light, and for the journey He is taking me through. I will work harder to progress in my seven days of perfection.
