My Baby and New Baby

I got a wonderful visit today from Karla and Cristina and my mommy. It was SO. UNBELIEVABLY good to see them. I've missed them way too much for words. Poor mama has a cold and Baby David is not helping, but we're all excited for the Baby Shower in 2 weeks. And even more excited to meet Baby David in April. (Yes April. Please no more May babies).

Also. I got a new phone! Finally! After having problems with Rin for at least 4 months. Karla & Eric got me a new phone as a graduation present. So I better graduate haha. It's a Galaxy Core Prime. His name is Castor (like the club owner in Tron: Legacy, as per my theme). Hooray for being able to communicate with the outside world :D

After a day of being a sickwun and of negative moods and some icky self-esteem issues and a loud and not fun for me meeting... a nice phone call for half an hour changed my mood completely. I can't tell you how happy this kid makes me. We can talk about nothing and it's still the best part of my day.

How Do I Smart Phone?

I finally got her! My new phone. She's an HTC amaze. Her name is Rinzler (in tandem with the rest of my electronics all being named after things relating to the Tron series). I've been calling her Rin for short. That is a Japanese name that means companion. I think it's quite fitting.

So far, Rin works very well! She's doing all the things I need her to. Data and wifi work fine. She has way more space for apps than I need. She is holding onto a lot of my music now, which is really cool since I haven't had a portable music device in... 4 and a half years (thank you flood of 2010). Her camera is wonderful so expect vlogs on the go sometime soon! And now I am able to text you, my dear friend :) I can't tell you how happy that makes me. You might just get sick of me hehe but God bless technology for bringing me that little bit closer to my best friend.

Final C.L.U

Today's entry is bittersweet! (like this dark chocolate - mint candy I am consuming. Yum). Today is my final day with my current phone, C.L.U. Tomorrow, I become a smart phone user. What. WHAT? Weird. So weird. This little phone of mine has lots of problems. I won't deny that. But it has served me well these 2 years. Here's to a good friend! I'll miss your smallness and your lack of neediness in terms of charging and maintenance. Bless.
