Reason 349: Seriously. You are my best friend ever. So this kid asked why I was so ridiculously sick that I could not go to work. And I (TMI) chopped it up to my period overreacting. And let me just say, God bless boys who don't get awkward about the word period and realize it's a thing they probably WANT their girl to have gone through, just saying. ANYWAY. Weird summary is that mine lasts 7 days and isn't ever hard to deal with except this one time.
