I was looking back at my blog and realized I never posted anything for Saturday! I wonder how many other days I've missed this year. Whoops! But ah well, it makes sense that I forgot to post. Saturday was the first of two tech days (which you can see more of in my new video about our Panto tech). It wasn't as long as we're used to and it was incredibly efficient! We were let out fairly early, and it was nice to see things running so smoothly. But the best part was definitely after rehearsal when a few of us got together and watched Anastasia in the acting studio. It's a magical movie to say the least, and I never get tired of it. The cool part was Brandon, Laura, and Moises had never seen it before, so Jess & I got to rewatch one of our favorites and share the love with a whole new bunch! This movie was such a big part of my childhood, and it instantly makes any day better.

10-31-15

A lighting call! Early in the morning. A group of us went to help hang and pull lights for the panto. It really just felt nice to be helpful. Whenever tech stuff happens, I always feel so useless because there isn't much I know about or understand. So on days like today, when I'm needed and I'm actually able to come through on some things, it feels really nice. I'm glad. And I know Jess is gonna work super hard to make it look awesome.

Reason 63: So 12 hour rehearsal. Fun times, non? So tired. But the best part, interestingly, was texting Spencer. My little baby from back home. He's like a son to me. And the fact that we've been talking all day just gets me so nostalgic of Einstein and the strong connection I have to that school. I love hearing about the show and his classes and the homecoming decorations/themes. All of it! Also, he's the only person who I know will for sure be at Hairspray. That seriously touches my heart.

Obviously not the same sentiment. But a cute song :)
