I went to an Orioles game! Very different atmosphere than the Nationals Park, but fun all the same. I went with a few families from church and we had a blast. I appreciate their generosity and kindness; it was really cool of them to ask my mom and I to tag along. It was such a fun time and, as time progressed, the O's started catching up and the crowd got so much more into it. In the end, we won! 3-2. It was a grand time haha. Glad I got to go, and Glad I had Abi and Keila to laugh with me the whole evening.

Ignition

Reason 57: FIRST GAME. I started today feeling like crap. (I'm still not over yesterday's disappointment. I dwell. It's not good.) But son, as soon as I got in that car, I felt amazing. I just needed that change of scenery. And going back into DC felt so relieving. And then the park?!? OMG. The field in person was beautiful. The crowd was so great. We lost but it was really all about the experience for me. I had a blast. I am now here, refreshed and ready to face new challenges. Emily is back, so I have company. I'm content. And can't thank my darling friends enough for being there for me.
