Wearing Blue Roses
I wore the blue rose earrings Jess bought me for my birthday almost a year ago. I also wore the necklace that you bought. It's not as new and petals have fallen off, but it makes me happy all the same. They make me feel loved. They remind me that someone had me in their heart, and I am so grateful for that.

My Wonderwall
SO. A birthday post. After people were wonderful and said happy birthday to me and all that. The girls got me. The best gift. In the world. So it was 3 parts. Part 1 was a beanie baby teddy bear with its hands folded in prayer called Hope. And he had a little poem to introduce himself as my new prayer buddy. Part 2 was an itty bitty precious moments figure. She had brown hair and a gorgeous white dress with blue buttons, a blue sash, and a blue rounded collar. She held a blue rose with a turquoise stone inside. Part 3 was a charm bracelet with little angels on it and a heart that says "Guardian Angel Protect Me". Needless to say, I cried a little. It was LITERALLY. Perfect. I'm still emotional about it.
And the day after my birthday, I enjoyed a DELICIOUS dinner with my Mommy and sister and niece at Olive Garden. Twas delish. And while there, we overheard a guy who sang kinda like Frank Sinatra on the speakers, but the lyrics were from Black Hole Sun! Turns out singer Paul Anka has an album called Rock Swings where he covers all these rock songs, like Smells Like Teen Spirit. So far this is my fav

S'more Alpha Psi Omega Please!
Last night, Alpha Psi Omega held their first meet and greet of the year. We went into Harvey Stone park, made s'mores, and told some freaking crazy ghost stories. I can't begin to tell you the amount of fun I have with this family. I laugh so hard and feel so loved among this group who understands my passion for what I do. And WHAT. A. TURNOUT! Obviously, some people just went for fun. But the idea of having so many potential new members this year is amazing. Seriously, I'm so glad that the event was a success. And here's to the awesome new freshmen who are getting involved!
Afterwards, I couldn't sleep. I don't exactly have a fear of ghosts, but more so a fear of my own brain. I overthink and dwell until I psych myself out. So Jonathan was kind enough to skype with me and distract me so I'd be okay going to sleep :)
Now I am home. And my door is blue. Along with our shutters. It reminds me of happy things <3
