Now July is over. I leave for Canada in not even four full days. I'm still a little in disbelief that it's real. But it is. And it's gonna be so great.

July 28-30
We went North haha. After work, the weekend started with me driving to Boonsboro. It would have been much less terrifying if the rain weren't absolutely insane. But I did my best and we got there safe. Took two hours but we got there. And then Jess and I were off to New Jersey! Emily's Bridal Shower was on Saturday so naturally the bridesmaids were in attendance. We helped with what we could but honestly, Elizabeth (Emily's sister and Maid of Honor) had it all pretty under control. The party was lovely and everything was super cute and relaxed. New Jersey, or the parts I saw, was very pretty. After dropping off a load of gifts, we spent the evening at Point Pleasant, which is such a nice beach it almost made me want to go more often. And I hate beaches. The boardwalk was nice and, since it was so late, the beach itself was practically empty. It looked gorgeous. At the end of the boardwalk was a cute little aquarium. I haven't been to one since I was little so I was living my best life. There are just so many amazing animals and I'm lucky I got the chance to be so close to them. I saw the littlest terrapin and I cried. And then I kept seeing more turtles and crying. And then, in the same room basically, I saw penguins, and once I realized I had seen my two favorite animals in one place I was so happy I was lightheaded. We spent far too long in the gift shop because I didn't know what to get your dad haha. And then we drove back. The weekend was full of lots of good food, laughing at our own nonsense, and plans for the beautiful September wedding. The venue is gorgeous and I really can't wait. It's going to be such a lovely day. But as for the weekend of cupcakes, cats, and crazy conversations, I'm happy. It was a much needed trip.

Cousin Dates
Yesterday I saw my cousin Stephanie, and we went to see Wonder Woman. Sidenote, wow what a film I'm obsessed and have so many feelings. Today, my cousin Cindy who is back from living in Arizona for three years, invited me out to Cheesecake Factory. My favorite restaurant and, as expected, everything was delicious.
This was so super refreshing. How do I phrase this? I love spending time with my friends and seeing them always makes me happy. But one on one time with family is so rare and so beautiful and I was in MUCH NEED of this happy time. I love these ladies. I admire them so much. It was great to talk about deep conversations and silly stuff, and even catch up on what's going on with our lives and careers in a way that is so much more than small talk. The best thing is, as family, these people know your morals and values and upbringing and they know YOU. I genuinely wish more people had this connection with their extended family. I know it isn't common. I know that most people see relatives on the holidays and are content with just that. But I am so blessed to have my family by me at all times. And even though I don't get to see these two as often as I'd like, I love them with my whole heart. Days like these remind me how comfortable and open I can be with them, and the crazy amounts of laughing and fun we have together.
I think a lot of people dread having a significant other meet extended family. Family is always crazy. I know mine can certainly be a lot for some people. But honestly? My family is an absolute delight. And if whoever I end up with in the future can't hang? They can walk. Family first and foremost. These are the people who are there for you no matter where you go. And I know plenty of people don't have a good relationship with their blood relatives and will form those strong bonds somewhere else. I am SOOOO beyond blessed to have both. If I could, I'd share with everyone. It's a beautiful thing.

Harveys 2017
The new members of Alpha Psi omega, led by Mandy, performed last night. Their parodies were very cute. Their original skit was rather clever, and did a good job of keeping up the "complaining about clues" trend that the past few years have loved so much. Their song was great. Out of this world. I am actually so in love with it. I stand by the opinion that no class has had as great a song as the Chi class' Disney medley. But WOW this is such a close second. It was so good and very sweet and lots of fun and emotional and I'M SO IMPRESSED. I can't express it well enough. Their creativity was beyond measure and their hard work is evident throughout the whole performance. They seem like great additions to our theatre family. And Mandy better know she played a major part in getting them to where they are. She killed the game. And these kids will love their mom forever.
The seniors panicked about their own performance, but it was honestly an amazing time. The three from the Chi class taught everyone else the Disney medley. I'm so happy I was next to my co-stage mama Jess and we could sing along with them while they slayed it. The memories flooded back and the legacy lived on. I could not be prouder of these seniors, and how far they've come. I wasn't surprised that I remembered all the words to the Disney medley, but when the Psi class started singing THEIR parody of Never Gonna Give You Up from 2015, I screamed with excitement and somehow managed to remember all those words, too. My babies grew up, and getting those blasts from the past pulled my heartstrings. Watching them re-do all their shows, FROM WAY BACK IN NAJEE'S TIME, that was something special. They were hilarious and it absolutely killed me how spot on they were. And their final song. So sweet. So genuine. So perfect. I am actually aching, thinking that after last night, I may never see some of these people again. It's a definite possibility and it shatters me into pieces. I love them all so much. There's a million things I feel like I haven't said yet. But I'm proud. They're moving on to much better things. And wherever they end up, they better know I love them and I'm cheering them on and I'll always support them however I can. It was an HONOR to bring these members into the organization. To help give them a family. There were so many great moments in their performance and I don't know if I'll ever stop talking about it. I wish I had a more worthy goodbye for them. But that's me. I'm an emotional time bomb and they've probably had enough of my sappiness.
I cannot believe. I performed last night. I had dreams about being on stage at Harveys. Never did I think it'd happen. I walked into this room SO READY to just watch. I had been a part of Harveys, either performing or hosting, for all four years. Not once did I get to just sit and watch! I was so happy I could just enjoy it with no stress! But when the seniors needed to stall for time, IRA (I cannot believe. I just cannot.) decided to say we should do Christmas Carol. And Joshy was next to him, and Ira said hey you're both here. And enough people heard that somehow, I heard my name and got on a stage. IT FELT WRONG because I'd already said my goodbyes to that stage and I didn't want to take away from anyone else's special night. But the seniors seemed grateful and the audience had fun. I got to perform with my Twin again, which is my favorite thing in the world. I'm surprised we remembered as much as we did. And now the new members know about our insanity. Crazy. Absolutely crazy. I guess we can't ever really say goodbye to this place.
I dressed up. I saw people I love. Everybody slayed. I got nostalgic. I feel a lot of emotions about a lot of parts for a lot of different reasons. But overall, Harveys was something special. I don't ever want to forget last night.

December Catch-up
Wow. Have I really not written on here in almost a month? Yeah, I've been busy. But that's unacceptable. Let's get so some smiles
- It's Christmas. Like I know it's not yet, but it's Christmas. And there's pretty lights everywhere and all these fun decorations and outfits and the radio has Christmas music and people are in such a cheerful mood. Yay holidays!
- We keep getting all this amazing food brought to the office. Blessings galore.
- I miss McDaniel and Dog Party and Holiday Cabaret and all those fun things. But it's nice to see everyone else enjoy them and have a whole new generation take part. Plus, Torreke and Veronica danced to Howl's Moving Castle score and I'm still not over it.
- I had my last therapy session on the 9th. I was told that I could always count on my therapist as a resource if I ever needed it, but that I'd gotten to a good place and made a lot of progress in a short time, so I don't need regularly scheduled appointments anymore. I've gotten my anxiety to a manageable place.
- I had a birthday! With lots of fun gifts! And delicious foods. But mostly, with my favorite people. Cutting a cake with my immediate family was honestly so nice. My niece always manages to put a big smile on my face. She even prayed for our dinner and for my birthday. I was a very happy aunt. And the next week, I had a bigger dinner with some close friends. Seeing them was such a treat, but seeing them all get along and become fast friends is truly the greatest gift I ever could have asked for.
- I had a lovely brunch with Jim Dyson, only my favorite alumn ever! We caught up and talked life after McDaniel and RWBY fan theories. He's such a good person and I had a blast. Can't go wrong with Silver Diner!
- I've been able to talk to Nick a lot more. The kid has a life, and finals affect everyone differently, so I am still sad that I didn't get to see him for my birthday, but I refuse to hold a grudge or let that get to my energy. I'm just glad we're talking somewhat regularly again. I'm very happy to have him in my life.
- Michael is such a great friend. He's just so supportive and kind and understanding. I am glad that we've always gotten along so well.
- Hairspray Live happened. It may not have been the greatest thing ever but I had fun and it brought back some sweet memories.
- Pentatonix had their own Christmas special oh my goodness I am way too proud of them.
- I got to see Eric! We had a mini-birthday celebration for the both of us. I need that boy in my life more, seriously, he's a gem and I miss him.
- Brookside Gardens twice. I never ever ever get tired of that place. It's so beautiful and magical and happy. It reminds me of childhood, and it's so fun to walk through, even if it is cold haha.
- Ugly sweater party at church! Even if I didn't win, everyone looked so cute and it's nice to be silly with the youth group every once in a while.
- Christmas party at work was awesome. Exhausting and kinda expensive on my end, haha. But awesome. People are still telling me how much they enjoyed the games, which is always nice to hear. And I just enjoyed some delicious food with people I am proud to call my co-workers. Everyone looked so good. And I got the most beautiful ornament from my boss' wife. There's no way on earth she knew how much I love angels. That's God at work right there.
- Have I mentioned how happy I am that you're here? I hope I have. Because I really am. I almost feel spoiled compared to the 8 years without you right by my side. I have no idea what I'll do when you leave. But I know it's not forever. And until then, I'm loving the mess out of having you in the states.
- There's more. There has to be more. It's been such a good time. I am so very blessed. Bad days happen and bumps get in the way but overall, I am grateful. I pray that the rest of the world be able to feel the love this holiday season. It's a scary time for so many out there, but none of us are alone. And there's always someone, somewhere willing to help in whatever way they can. So I'll do what I can to keep spreading that cheer. And to keep it going all the way into 2017!

My Get Away
While in Westminster, I:
Please send love my way. I'm good, just missing my best friend. I wish I could take you with me everywhere.
- Hugged lots and lots and lots of my favorite people
- Enjoyed an uncomfy but oh so amazing choice that was designed and performed beautifully
- Went to a cast party and laughed a bunch
- Got lots of love and support from people who mean the world to me
- Had a dream about the boy which I haven't done in months (not necessarily a positive but hey I'm sharing)
- Ate a delicious breakfast in Jeannie Bird with darling Gabe and my Little
- Watched the first episode of Ouran High School Host Club with Mandy and Paul-athan
- Talked about important things and making good choices
- Fangirled over Howl's Moving Castle 'cause I wore my Calcifer shirt
- Rode home with Mariah and sang rather loudly
Please send love my way. I'm good, just missing my best friend. I wish I could take you with me everywhere.

12/15/15
Jen described it as a holiday party. Where everyone comes for food and drink and general merriment. Conversations break off into different corners. Kids play with their toys. And people slowly start to head home. The little one falls asleep on someone else. And the big kids keep playing until bedtime.
Lots of people came over yesterday, including Paul who cannot stop spoiling our apartment and brought us brownies. We all played lots of Mario Kart, and then some Mario Party 7. Friendships were only made stronger haha. Then Paul made me start Chibi-Robo which is insanely Japanese but really cute and fun. Dunno when I'll get a chance to pick it up again but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Yay fun with friends and GameCube!

MAY FIRST IS EVERYTHING
Harvey's happened. The big culminating theatre event of the year happened. And everyone looked SO GOOD! UGH! I love when people dress up. And now we can all kinda chill out. We still have Children's Show & Voting, but this is a celebration of how far we have come in a year as well as all the new things to come for next year. I'm so happy. The Littles did an AMAZING job. I knew the script and I was still rolling in laughter. I am so glad the cast liked it. And paper plates were as fun to present as they were to make. Mine almost made me cry cause it was beautiful. But I digress. I had a blast and could not ask for a better job. I love every single one of these babies and nothing makes me happier than seeing them up on that stage. They earned every bit of their applause.
Also. JESS & I GOT INTO CHOICES! Look for the truest of true soul mates on your McDaniel stage this August. We're gonna have the best freaking time EVER.

PLAYFAIR
Is what we shouted as we -creepily, rudely, possibly illegally- ran through the halls of the freshmen dorms. Playfair is the ultimate icebreaker. And a group of about 200 or so people got together and had an amazing time. This included some of my dear mentees. I was so glad to see them getting pumped, meeting people, and enjoying themselves. Lots of yelling. Lots of movement. All the fun.

Two In One
August 21 - Thursday
Seeing almost all my mentees having fun at Karaoke. Oh man. Even better was the fact that about 4 of them actually got up there and sang. Precious babies! How I love thee.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
August 22 - Friday
Working with Gené and the theatre department. This is what I know. I am not the best at leading people back and forth across campus and getting them to express interest in everything. But theatre? Theatre I can do. It's all I do. It's what I love. And I'm so glad that these kids seem to love it too :)
I'm exhausted. Hallelu to free day tomorrow

To The Place Where I Belong
First off, we need to talk about the S.T.A.G.E blog. Precious babies are enjoying their wonderful time in Edinburgh. I'm jelly. But also super happy for them. Reading the entries gives me joy. Partially because I'm seeing all these pictures and thinking I WENT THERE! I'VE NEVER SAID THAT BEFORE OMG. I CAN ACTUALLY SAY I'VE BEEN THERE. And mostly because this is an INSANE experience and I'm hoping that they love it and learn a lot from it. It's good for them.
Speaking of good for you. ONTO AUGUST BLOGGING!
Day 1:
- Bless these people, they really do not understand how to travel. We're so inefficient. It's so cute.
- A conversation plane ride and I'm wide awake!
- California weather is hot but oh so nice. The breeze feels lovely and there's no humidity!
- West Coast Baptist College has a beautiful campus. Not necessarily the place for me, BUT it was so nice and everyone was very sweet and accommodating.
- We caught a glimpse of Lancaster Baptist Church's Vacation Bible School and man did these guys go all out! Shows what can really be done when people put forth the effort (and money).
- Evangelizing! Honestly, I don't think that's where my gifts lie. But it was good to do it all the same. Especially knowing that someone's heart actually was touched and we helped someone get through a hard time. We also had some pretty AWESOME guides.
- We had a tour of this place and it really was nice. Again, not the place for me, but anywhere is more likely to have better music resources than McDaniel. I can see why other people would certainly be very happy here. I'm glad I came because I've now seen Angelique in this environment and know that she will definitely benefit from this school.
- Also really glad that this has the little ones thinking about college. As I predicted, tour guide called me out on asking all the big questions. Good. I made the kids pay attention. And most of them seemed to decide that this was not the place for them BUT they certainly have an idea of what to look for. I've planted a seed. Hallelu!
- BEACH. Mind you, I don't love the beach. At all. Far from it. But the weather was so nice and the view was pretty sweet and these people just had my laughing the whole time.
- Service. I learned to plant a seed and shine my light. I think everyone who goes to church hears this once in a while. I can't describe it or reiterate it as the guest pastor did. But his personal experiences and stories, as well as his wording and evident love and kindness just touched me. It made it obvious to me how much my testimony and the impression I leave really mean. We even got to speak to him and his beautiful wife afterwards. I seriously love how kind people here are.
- More kindness. We found an old friend of Hermana Delmi's after the service. He and his wife were lovely and funny and automatically showed us so much kindness. They even invited us to dinner at In n Out Burger! It's a thing. I've finally tried it. Check that off the list.
- Six Flags all day
- We actually did have a lot of fun. Again. Not so much because of the activity. It really was just because of the people I shared the day with.
- I took a picture with Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, and Foghorn Leghorn!
- So much Harley Quinn and Superman stuff everywhere. I was a happy girl.
- We're still really bad at this airport thing. But we have improved significantly.
- All our seats are separated. I am placed next to a kind older gentleman who is actually very funny. He talks to me about how much he hates So Cal and just prefers Virginia. How his family is from the city, and how he left his parent's home at a very early age (as opposed to kids from our group), and now he and his wife live in the country! We spoke about food, tourism, attractions, his daughter, and college. It was very pleasant.
- Right as the plane started moving, a stewardess explained to me that some girl near the front was very distraught about her seating arrangements and was hoping to trade seats with me (I'm assuming it had something to do with family). So instead of being alone in the 22nd row, I was alone in the 8th row. This time, however, I was sitting in Economy Plus. More leg room! 'Cause I totally need that, right? Haha. I also sat between two pregnant women who were both very sweet and would joke every now and again with each other. Overall, I'm hapyp witht he flight. Didn't sleep so I'm exhausted. But I'm happy.
- Now I'm home. And I'm so so so so so glad of it. (Also. Finally saw new RWBY episode. SO GOOD)
- Very personal moments with these wonderful people. Moments that helped me learn where the people I cared about were in their lives. Stories about our pasts. Jokes about the future. Absolutely idiotic moments. Advice and prayer. And so much understanding. And an overarching feeling of love that I truly needed.
- Parodies of all kinds of songs
- Jokes about Joshua trees

Never Felt So Good
I think this is my favorite video D-Trix has ever posted. 'Cause it's got a whole bunch of my favorite Youtubers being absolute goofballs. And it also has some pretty awesome dancers who I admire. And honestly, all I've ever wanted is just for people to feel content and smile and dance everywhere they go. To me, it's like the ultimate expression of satisfaction.

Babies Growing Up
We have stressed for months over Harveys. Awards. Skits. Songs. Attire. Attendance. All of it. It's been a hassle. But tonight, WITH EMILY IN TOW (YAY VISITING EMILY!), was absolutely amazing.
We had a good bit of alumni visit us today. And they had lots of fun at our little event, filled with delicious food, fun song, and lots of meeting within families. It was cute. And it was AWESOME to see all my favorite people looking so classy! And then, moment of truth. Jess & I had to host Harveys.
The babies KILLED it. Oh my gosh. We had people rolling with our skit. The parodies were actually really cute. And that song?! Ugh they parodied a Disney medley and I could've cried at how well it went. The audience loved them. And it gave the professors hope for all the potential in the coming years. Also, for the first time in way too long, I made paper plates. Ugh. It had been too long. But they made people happy. And I got one, too! It was really cute. Especially for Jess' first time making them! Honestly, I'm just so happy about how well tonight went. Feels were felt. And they were among family. Speaking of family. I SAW MY BIG. For the first time in ages. I didn't get to talk to her much because I was literally stressing about the babies all night. But I saw her and shared my love with her.
We as Stage Moms have ended our meetings with the little ones. They are now fully a part of the new cast. I am, for some reason, super emotional. And so beyond proud. Seek a life, useful, kids!

Is It Spring Yet?
Welp. Spring Break has ended. And I had a wonderful time. I went to AEHS with Charlotte & Margie, and got to see my 2014 babies in their last performance (my heart is a little shattered). I spent lots of time with Karla & Cristina, who I can never get enough of. I saw Jonathan and he spoiled me like crazy on Friday, just so he had company on his "bad" diet day haha. Coldstone, Potbelly's, and Ben & Jerry's. THAT was fun hahaha. I've been watching Red vs Blue again, and it just gives me feelings. Biggest project: Rearranging my room. We've got family coming in April and my mom wants them to stay in my room. So she wants to add another bed. Meaning I had to get rid of an entire armoire and 2 storage units and move basically my life into a shelf. The living room was COVERED with everything I own. It was fun to go through all my stuff though. To see what I've kept that matters to me. And man, I knew I had an obsessive personality but some of the stuff I wrote in middle school/ early high school was... yikes. It's nice to look back though. It's nice to remember how we all were. The answer is idiots. We were all idiots. Sometimes I miss it though <3 Now I'm back on campus and the workload is NOT letting up. But hey, this is the path I chose. And so, let's give it all we got!
I blame Kimberly

A Brief Overview of the Greatest Trip of my Life
- While on the plane, I can't sleep. Merp. Listen to music and watch movies.
- As we fly over London, "The City" by The 1975 plays. Perfection.
- WE SAW MARIAH and got her for a solid 4 days. I love that girl so much.
- Jetlag is real. Toilets are weird. England is expensive. There are sheep everywhere. The grass is so flipping green. Every inch of this country is beautiful.
- Stonehenge. It's so cool. And so mysterious. I loved it. But I for one believe rocks are made to be sat upon. No one seemed to agree with me.
- BATH (hometown of Charlie McDonnell haha fangirl mode on)
- The Francis Hotel in Bath is LEGIT. Best hotel of the whole trip. Stay there.
- Cathedral of Bath
- Sick on Day 2, way to go Sammy!
- Roman Baths. Healing waters man. And so many Roman ruins!!!
- Glastonbury Abbey aka the largest Abbey in Europe before it fell to ruin, thank you Henry and the Austen family. The walls still have some color. The building was massive. And we found out tons about the monks that lived there. Carvings are a motif in literally every building we entered. It also may or may not be the burial place of King Arthur
- Wells Cathedral. Probably my favorite building we entered the whole trip. SO absolutely stunning. Beautiful stained glass, giant chapel, hilarious carvings, unique scissor arches, awesome organ, wonderful choir room, THE COOLEST CLOCK I'VE EVER SEEN, and even a beautiful street where the members of the choir live.
- The Tor. Didn't actually get to climb to the Tor, just climbed the hill. But that view <3
- Peter Pan Panto. Hilarious. And so many references. I died!
- History tour of Bath. Such a great city.
- CARDIFF
- Cardiff Castle. Ruined building, with only maybe 3 rooms still intact. An impressive war time tunnel, spooky and fun! And a tower with 100 steps. Great climb, but not the best view thanks to the rainy weather.
- Jack & the Beanstalk Panto OMG. Best panto ever. The fairy was HILARIOUS. Great music choices. Set as legit. That giant amazed me. Great dancers. Precious children. And I WANT EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THOSE COSTUMES. Also, the villain? Fleshcreep? Ugh. New dream role haha
- Millenium Stadium. So big! So cool! It made me want to watch Rugby.
- Doctor Who Experience. LEGIT. We drove the Tardis and got caught by Daleks and walked through a cemetery filled with Walking Angels and UGH so cool. Matt Smith pretty much MADE the whole thing (recordings, not actual Matt Smith). Museum filled with old sets and props and costumes and suits. And a fantastic gift shop.
- STRATFORD
- Royal Shakespeare Company. Tour of the theatre as well as an acting work shop HOLY CRAP I want to work there. I wish. The costumes and stage and set and lighting instruments and sound system and fly system and wig/make-up professionals and I just cannot deal. I want it to badly.
- Tour of Stratford upon Avon. Saw basically all the major places in Shakespeare's life, including the church he's buried in. Everything is so old and so pretty! Saw Anne Hathaway's cottage. Everything in England is so small! All the doors and beds are my size! The last part of Anne Hathaway's cottage had a little bulletin board where couples would write the stories of how they fell in love. So many of them were of people who did theatre together :)
- Warwick Castle. The princess tower was only for kids ages 3-8. Heart. BROKEN. But they had a bunch of other awesome towers and tunnels and attractions and gift shops and bird shows. There were peacocks just walking around all over the grounds like it was nothing. It was more like they turned an old castle into a theme park. I wish there was a bit more history, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.
- If you ever get the chance to see Wendy & Peter Pan do it. It's not at all what I thought it would be. It's so dark and different and good. Whether or not you liked it, you cannot walk out of that auditorium without truly feeling something. It was pretty mind-boggling. I could rant about that show for the rest of my life, truly I could.
- OXFORD
- Oxford University College tour. Meh. Oxford. To big. Too fancy. Too cold! And a lot like Hogwarts.
- Lunch at the pub where C.S.Lewis &Tolkein went to every Tuesday!
- ENTER LONDON. Look for famous people everywhere like the fangirls we are haha
- First time on a double decker bus, touring London. We walk on the London Bridge We see the London Eye, Tower Bridge, Big Ben, Fleet Street (there was actually a barber shop there omg), Leister Square, Piccadilly Circus, Covenant Garden, Totem Court, Trafalgar Square, Kings Cross, just omg everything.
- Buckingham Palace. SO BIG AND PRETTY AND HORSES AND GUARDS AND AH! Cristina will be there some day ^_^ haha
- Saw One Man Two Governors. I don't know if I could ever sit through it again, but I definitely laughed until my whole body hurt and had a blast of a time.
- British museum. The history. So impressive. So many cultures that just leave you in absolute awe. And some of those exhibits. WTF England. "Hey that trip to Rome was fun!" "Yeah, but what should we take as a souvenir?" "Hmm, good question. I dunno, how about THIS TEMPLE?!"
- Royal Theatre on Drury Lane. Oldest theatre in West End. Over 500 ghosts. So. Pretty. So impressive. And they have a room for when the "King" visits. Except, there is no King, so now the Queen & the Princes use it. Also apparently Michael Jackson used it.
- National Gallery. You're gonna love the art.
- EFFING BACKSTAGE PASS INTO LES MISERABLES. I STOOD ON THAT STAGE. I could've cried. Seriously. Looking into that audience from the turntable was so overwhelming. I couldn't believe it. Also, we were accompanied by Anton (Enjolras) who I know form his youtube channel so while all the girls were smitten and in love I was like LOL dibs, as well as Rob (Marius) who is just the most precious baby. All thanks to our friend Cait who knows Scott Allen and got us the hook-up. Seriously, I can never thank her enough.
- Les Mis was Les Mis. But I loved it all. I so enjoyed watching everyone perform. All the songs are stuck in my head. I want a recording of specifically that performance (except I want the real Fantine cause we got the understudy and she wasn't that great). Also. Umm. Carrie was phenomonal.
- She gets her own bullet. Oh my Lord. I love her. I'm so happy for her. There she was. Carrie Hope Fletcher (don't act like you don't know, I talk about her on this blog all the time). Performing her soul out. She does this everyday. She lives her dream everyday. She lives MY DREAM everyday. I couldn't be more proud. And I was so scared that I wouldn't like her. That I'd finally see her perform and think "wow, she can't act". But she was easily one of the best performers on that stage. And that's not just me being biased, the people I asked in my class agreed with me. Ugh. I love her.
- I met her. I met Carrie Hope Fletcher. I ACTUALLY. MET HER. And I it wasn't much to her. I mean it was because she loves meeting her Hopefuls and knowing she's made a difference. But to me. It was EVERYTHING. Best part of the whole trip. I seriously could not have been happier or more excited. I almost cried afterwards. She's smaller than I thought she'd be! And she's just so sweet. I'm so lucky I love such a wonderful person.
- RIDING THE TUBE! AHHH! I'm such a tourist.
- Original site of The Globe theatre and a tour of the new one. Ah! So cool. And authentic!
- Tate Modern. All the art.
- Millenium Bridge! Important for reasons!
- St. Paul's. Entry was 16 pounds. Umm no not about that life. That's too many American dollars to enter a church. But I'm so bitter and regret that decision because I adore churches, really truly.
- Guild Hall. QUITE the impressive building. With sides for "Ayes" and "Noes". We also saw more art! And ruins of the Roman Amphitheater, cool cool cool!
- Fortune's Fool at the Old Vic Theatre. Meh. Russian Comedy.
- Now I'm home. I'm back home. I'm in the USA. It's not nearly as pretty here. But I'm in my own bed and I have my mommy to make me healthy again and I get to see my sister and my niece and eat homecooked meals and not worry about which way to look when crossing the road because PEOPLE DRIVE ON THE RIGHT SIDE and I'm home and it's wonderful.

Sex In My Cup
I went to a coffee reading. Basically, you drink this coffee and the coffee grounds at the bottom dry into a certain pattern. The reader then finds patterns and images in the grounds and tells your near future. By the way, the sex was not in my cup.
A foretelling by Toni for Sammy:
A foretelling by Toni for Sammy:
- Wisdom from an unexpected source - alright. Praise God, I can always use more wisdom in my life.
- Beware a snake in the grass - I can deal with metaphorical snakes easily. If I see a physical snake in the grass I may cry. Toni laughed at me.
- Finals will be tough - She said this was likely due to my procrastination and that a workload would hit me hard. I could have told her that much.
- My partner is S - You're supposed to press your thumb into the grounds and see a letter in your print. She saw S. THANK GOD. IT WAS. NOT. J. Because that could be a million and twelve people I know and I would've sat there thinking about it for ages. My letter was S. I could think of only two people, and it IS NOT them for sure haha. Which is wonderful. Because that just means I haven't met him yet.

Wonderful Weekend
Just a heads up. My computer is doing the thing again, so I basically caved and am now typing this in the library. Blog withdrawal.
FUN WEEKEND. Lots and lots to tell. Back to bullets.
FUN WEEKEND. Lots and lots to tell. Back to bullets.
- For reasons that needn't be discussed, Mae is no longer the Stage Manager (pledge mom) for Alpha Psi. Of course that isn't a position that can be left open since that person is the bridge between current members and potential new members. SO. We had lots of voting to do. We first voted that the position could be a co-management position this year, considering how last minute it was and the fact that we are ALL insanely busy. After a few nominated people, myself included, left the room, the group had a long discussion, which I'm still kind of curious about. By the end, Jess Anderson and I were voted as the co-stage managers. We're both really excited to get things started for this new class. Hopefully we're able to do a good job and be as helpful as they need us to be. There's a lot to be done, and I want to be there for Jess in whatever capacity possible. SIDENOTE Jess and her boyfriend Michael have been dating for over two years. Their song is Your Guardian Angel. You already know what my reaction to that news was <3
- I went home for the weekend. I spent the first night helping my mom babysit Cristina. Poor thing is teething, so she's already fussy. She's also developed what we call "mamitis" (in Spanish), so basically if she doesn't see her mom or dad the little girl starts wailing. It breaks my heart, but I enjoy every possible moment with her.
- I hung out with Eric on Saturday. We went to Panera, and then we went to AEHS to see their fall show, Figments. Oh my goodness. I loved it. So cute. And Eric was such a good sport about the whole evening.
- At the show I saw Alex, Jason, and Brian. Oh my darling. I can't begin to describe how much happiness filled my heart spending time with them. I can't believe how much I missed them. And how much they missed me as well. It was so healing. I also saw a WHOLE BUNCH of my babies, and it made me ache for my school. I'm not living in the past, I don't think. But that auditorium is home. And the little ones make sure I always feel welcome. Hugging Spencer is one of the best feelings ever. After the show, the boys went on a Kenny's run for old times' sake and invited me to join them. It was my first time ever stepping foot in Kenny's. Finally.
- Hector texted me. All evening. My dearest darlingest friend who I miss oh so much. He's coming back for Christmas. I finally get to see him again. Words can't describe how big my smile was when he told me. He also said he'd like to see me outside of church, and proceeded to shower me in compliments as he always does. Seriously, I'm gonna marry that kid haha. I just need it to be December like, NOW.
- Sunday morning brunch with the ladies of our family at Silver Diner. SO much fun. I love spending time with those girls, they are always such a delight. And yes to good food. Just yes.
- Went shopping with Karla and the baby, so now I have a new jacket and boots for Europe :3
- MONDAY ISN'T WEEKEND BUT I'M COUNTING IT ANYWAY. Last night was our first rehearsal for Jack & the Beanstalk. Can we please just talk about how good it feels to be back in a rehearsal process? I'm stressed and overbooked and trying to manage my time and the one thing that makes me busiest is the one thing that keeps me sane. I will get everything done though. As crazy as it sounds, working in the theatre just motivates me to do better. It breathes new life in me. And I'm back in it. And I'm going to be in a show with a wonderful cast of people and a crazy director. I'm in heaven ^_^

"I Love Theatre People"
First off. EMILY IS HERE. OH MY GOSH MY ROOMMATE IS BACK AND I LOVE HER SO MUCH AND I'M SO GLAD I FINALLY GET TO SPEND THIS WEEKEND WITH EHR AFTER A CRAZY 5 MONTHS OF MISSING HER! AHHH
After tonight's show of Pygmalion (huge crowd, by the way, and everything went beautifully!), I got out of my dress, grabbed my wrapped gift, and headed to the theatre with my girls. I was so happy they'd participate in an Alpha Psi event with me. We were having another dog party. For the event I BOUGHT A LIGHT SABER. And I wrapped it in One Direction paper so that no one would want it. It was the first thing someone grabbed. And after much fighting and yelling and struggle. I WON. I GOT IT. I GOT IT BACK AND IT IS MINE AND I HAVE A LIGHT SABER AND IT IS BEAUTIFUL. The lot of us are so crazy. Seriously. And I was so glad to see that the girls were enjoying themselves and had fun with everyone. Afterwards we played Sardines. Lauren and I teamed up and had a blast running through that theater in the dark. Afterwards we sat and conversed and laughed outside the theater with some wonderful people. I am just now getting back, and my roommate isn't here so I can take my time writing this and getting into my PJs without disturbing anyone. It's a lovely feeling. Ugh. Being surrounded by wonderful people. It's all a girl can ask for.

S'more Alpha Psi Omega Please!
Last night, Alpha Psi Omega held their first meet and greet of the year. We went into Harvey Stone park, made s'mores, and told some freaking crazy ghost stories. I can't begin to tell you the amount of fun I have with this family. I laugh so hard and feel so loved among this group who understands my passion for what I do. And WHAT. A. TURNOUT! Obviously, some people just went for fun. But the idea of having so many potential new members this year is amazing. Seriously, I'm so glad that the event was a success. And here's to the awesome new freshmen who are getting involved!
Afterwards, I couldn't sleep. I don't exactly have a fear of ghosts, but more so a fear of my own brain. I overthink and dwell until I psych myself out. So Jonathan was kind enough to skype with me and distract me so I'd be okay going to sleep :)
Now I am home. And my door is blue. Along with our shutters. It reminds me of happy things <3

Littles
Mae invited us over to her house! She has a house with her classmate Keira, who is also in Alpha Psi. Oh my gosh, it's beautiful. It's so spacious! And so I got to spend the evening with them, Kiera's friend (slash a sort-of Teacher's Assistant in my Stage craft class) Eric, my twin Joshy, and Emily. Emily is a junior who is in Alpha Psi AND is Mae's little in a different social sorority. Anyway. It was just a wonderful family dinner. We had fun. And I just love spending time with wonderful people. I especially love hearing stories about all the shows and stuff that have passed on campus. I can't wait to tell stories of my own :)
