I am back on campus with a finished draft for my practicum. A meeting was had and my life has some sort of sense. Thank God I'm no longer home. Thank God I am on campus where I will stay busy and distracted and working on all of the things. This week is packed with events and I'm so pumped.

Also, we have a Christmas tree. Two. They're smallish which is perfect for this apartment. I'm so freaking excited. And I cannot wait to put tons of presents under them. YAY HOLIDAYS :D

An Elizabethan Semester

I'm gonna spend a semester learning how to water bend. More specifically, I am taking a class called Asian Approaches to acting where we learn how to take plays from all over the world and stylize them in a way that is similar to how Asian theaters perform. Part of the style includes learning moves from different martial arts, and today we learned a bit of Tai Chi (which is what waterbending is based on). ALSO we had our first class for The Laramie Project. Already a great group, and we are sure to get more awesome people. Both classes are the last I will have with the incredible Elizabeth van den Berg. My only other class is Yoga, and then I have time to work on my senior projects. I am so so so ready for this.

School Starts Tomorrow

So enjoy the last day. Go to Intervarsity and enjoy a lovely Sunday service. See my dearest Emily after so long and get some awesome BWW. Have two great shows for Choices and get lots of really sweet comments. Crash and relax cause class does not start until 12:40 tomorrow.

TRAINING IS OVER. IT WAS SO SHORT. MY DOOR DECS LOOK AWESOME. THE FRESHMEN ARE COMING TOMORROW. I'm going crazy with happiness and joy and all the excitement. Here's to an amazing year.

Peer Mentor training!!! Oh man every one is so nice. And my team is awesome. And the games were fun. And Dean V is amazing. And the binder is so organized. And I love seeing all my friends again. And I have laughed so hard today. This whole experience has just been so helpful and I'm glad I get to do this. I'm so grateful I've been trusted with this job. It'll be amazing. Day 1 of training, over! 3 more to go. Ah waking up early <3

Past Curfew!

Apologies! It's past midnight. I goofed. But it has been such a busy day. I'm back at McDaniel! The room is really nice. Everything went very smoothly. I got cupcakes! And I've already hung out with some dear friends. Guys I'm so excited for this year!! Life is good.

Reason 183: That is the romaji spelling for the Japanese word to say "I'm home" or "I have returned" (loose translation). Yep, I'm back at McDaniel with my awesome roommate and dear friends. I'm feeling good, and am excited for a semester of fun classes and great shows. YAY DEAN'S LIST.

Reason 182: Packing is difficult. And long. And strenuous. And kinda boring. BUT I'm just happy because I had a really great break, and I'm getting ready to go back to a really great school. Didn't miss the shower shoes or the fact that I have to log into the internet every time, but I'm gonna see my wonderful friends, be a part of a cool show, and take some awesome classes. Plus, I really did miss that dorm room. We'll just see how much dust I have to clean off the furniture :$ Maybe I'll be able to find time between rehearsals to actually apply for a job

Where I'm In Love With You

Reason 120: No one is happier to be on campus than I am right now. Somehow, I missed this. I am here with Emily, and our room is now completely decorated for Christmas :) I'm so thrilled, you don't even know. I just wish you could see it.
