Better When I'm Dancin'

I came home this weekend as scheduled, and it could not have been better timing. I got really sick this morning and it pretty much threw me off for the majority of the day. And then, when it was time to leave McDaniel, I go outside and see my mom, Karla, and Cristina. I stepped outside and that little baby smiled so big! My heart soared. I wasn't ACTUALLY cured at that moment, but just being in the car with them made me feel a whole lot better. I'm still kinda weak now, and am taking things slow. But I feel much much better. And since I felt better, I got to enjoy the Peanuts Movie in theaters. Which of course made me cry and was super duper cute.

Can we please talk about how adorable Norman is right now? He's legit walking into the lobby checking on me. Like making sure I'm okay and don't need help with this project or whatever. And he came in to say goodnight and everything. I love wonderful people.

An Eye For Things

We're watching Family Ties at Karla's house. It's the episode where the family goes camping. The littlest child, Andy, has a sleeping bag. It's rolled up and only shown for 4 seconds. AND KARLA. NOTICED. IT WAS A SNOOPY SLEEPING BAG. What. WHAT. Her radar is unparalleled.

Reason 191: So there's a trend going around for schools called (insert school name here) Compliments. Someone makes/runs a facebook with that as their name. Friend has a compliment for another person, such as "Rosie Suchandsuch has pretty hair", and sends it to the compliments page as a message. Then, the admin of the page posts that compliment as a status, tagging Rosie Suchandsuch, and the sender stays anonymous. So whenever Rosie Suchandsuch logs into facebook, she will see a pleasant surprise. Now, this trend has been going around for a bit. And McDaniel FINALLY got one! So I've been spamming/stalking it on the daily. I've posted a few, which is nice. And I had one posted for me today! Which was super sweet and touched my heart. My friend Josh Harding and I decided that, for every compliment we get, we will send a compliment for someone else. So I posted "I saw Colin Evans at a Danger Sauce show and didn't have the courage to talk to him, but I can tell he's a nice, charming person. I think the winning smile gives it away." And he actually saw it and replied "Thanks so much! If you come to another show you should talk to me." Which makes me think it actually did mean something to him, and makes me less nervous about ever approaching him if I do see him again hehe. This page is genius!

Reason 178: Learning to drive starts. I'm lazy so it's not too exciting. But it is at the same time. After taking this practice test 1000 times and being drilled by Karla & Eric, I'm gonna take my written test for my permit tomorrow. I know, about time, right? Progress, Sammy. Progress is good.

Kickin' & Screamin'

Reason 164: Little Mango is kicking! Poor Karla, she can't get the baby to calm down haha. Personally, I think the baby just got excited after tasting mommy's yummy pasghetti! (No that's not a typo). Spending the night at Karla's is always the most fun.
