For Vitamin D

Today was sunny and warm and glorious. After a pretty successful work day, I went to the park by my house. Haven't been there in a little while, so it felt good to go back. I just put on headphones and read my bible. It was a nice way to spend part of my day. I wish I could do it more often. I realize I've taken a lot of people to that little park. I think it's like Silver Diner. Everyone is invited, but at the end of the day, it's mine.

Watched an episode of The Punisher and the yummy Ben Barnes was in hit little cot, reading The Picture of Dorian Gray. I squealed, I was so excited. Like, A+++ for the props team, bravo. I'm sure he got a kick out of it. And if he was the one who decided that, then I love him for the vain creature that he is.

Take A Walk

Reason 311: I LOVE WALKS! But actually. This morning I went for a  power walk and quite enjoyed my time. Got lost for all of 25 seconds before my mental map rerouted and I was set. Passed by LMS and the P.E. classes haha. Found out their 8th grade dance is July 7th, we should totally crash! (As Jonathan pointed out to me today, we are old enough to chaperone). Passed by Weller Road Elementary and oh my gosh it's HUUUUGE and they're not even done rebuilding it yet... bye bye childhood. Some creepy old guy asked if he could walk with me and I straight up laughed. Like, I realize that wasn't smart, but I just kept on walking and saying "Nope!" in an obnoxiously high pitched voice. I could've died, and it was endlessly amusing. Whoops. Anyway. A squirrel was being chased by two birds which was freaking funny and also kinda violent. And I came home safe and sound. THEN this afternoon, I was with Karla and Eric and Baby Cristina, and we all went for a nice walk to the park. Seriously beautiful weather today. So nice to be out!

Just 2 More Weeks

Reason 277: It's a BEAUTIFUL Opening Night, the sun is SHINING, and I just found out I can move out of campus on the 14th as opposed to the 18th. Heeeeeey summer vacation <3

Reason 137: Pretty sky! After a long, stressful exam day, it's nice that God blessed us with a little gift. Or a big one. A beautiful one :)

Cop Out

Reason 88: I'm not picking. Today was wonderful. And I have so much to say.

• It was BEAUTIFUL out. Beautiful trees and the weather was so nice.
• We got Pikachu back. He's safe in the room and no one will ever steal him again!
• Making plans for our visit to NJ. This can really happen. YAY.
• Skyped with Storm today. OMG the amount that I missed this kid is ridiculous. He's such a darling, and I loved being able to see him.
• MET SARA! We finally talked and oh my goodness she's so awesome. And so unfairly pretty!
• Ghost Tour. McDaniel campus is FULL of ghosts and all the stories are so incredible to hear. It's so cool to have so much history on one campus. Some stories are tragic, but overall it's fascinating. And some aren't even malignant, so it's kind of nice. Some ghosts have even been known to save lives. It gives me chills, in the best way possible!
• The couples everywhere didn't really bother me today. I was able to feel happy for them. Which, unfortunately, I haven't really been able to do in a while. But today, I was glad to see them smiling together.

Reason 87: It's a beautiful day. It's warm. The colors are stunning. And even when things look dark, it's important to remember the wondrous work God does. It's all around us, just look.

Reason 84: HAIRCUT. FINALLY. AFTER A YEAR OF WAITING. Hallelujah, my hair feels SO light and it looks so cute :3 I love it. And I'm donating 9 1/2 inches! Now, off to Cheesecake Factory for the best dessert in the world with the best family in the world :D

With Love, From Me to You

Reason 16: Lovely people. This girl in my church gave me a gift yesterday. She is an artist, and she said she wanted me to have something for the walls of my dorm, so she drew me something (She is also a major Beatles fan, hence my title today). I didn't really look at it until today. And I wanted to cry at how absolutely beautiful it was, and how much it meant to me. This picture doesn't really do it justice, but here:
