Necessary Snow Days

Sometimes you need a snow day. To relax. To catch up with work. For second chances. To just get a mental health day where you get rid of all the BS. God bless the snow on this day.

Did I actually post yesterday for the day before and not for the actual day? Help me.

 Yesterday was a lovely snow. I got to sit in and enjoy it. And I got so much stuff done! I'm actually pretty proud of how productive I was when it was so nice out. This getting ready to go back to McDaniel nonsense is not easy. But I think I'm ready. Mind you, after being there for a week, I'll be ready to go home, I'm sure of it. But for now, I know I need to get back and get working again.

ALSO. I finished Season 5 of Doctor Who. 30 more episodes on Netflix! And then I'll be watching it on weird websites with pop up ads like everyone else. Hooray for progress!

First Snow!

We had the first snow of 2015! It's super pretty. As long as you don't have to go outside. And I didn't! Yay for snow days with blankets and cocoa.

Remember that time when Sammy went home for the weekend? And had a lot of fun? But also had a lot of homework? And she did a literal none of it? And then she was terrified for school the next day?

Reason 221: Normal people took this snow day to romp about outside and tube down our giant hill. Aside from using this day to catch up on my endless piles of homework (Hallelujah!) I, not only talked to some dear friends and worked on spring break plans, but I did this.
