I'm doing my job right! And it's resulting in more work for everyone else? Haha it feels weird. But me sending out mail and faxing requests results in attorneys actually responding with the information we need! And dealing with that info is someone else's job. Whoops. They said it's not a bad problem to have. Basically, I feel really good :)

Dat Productivity

I did so much work today! I was on top of it and I learned lots and I actually finished everything I was able to do. So I got to leave 20 minutes early! And that time made all the difference in my life.

Hooray for being home AND being productive

• Exercise is awesome and I'm glad I got to do it
• Christmas Cards are finished and should be mailed tomorrow
• Watched all of Star Wars Episode V because why not?
• Read a good chunk of One Day and I'm glad of it
• Went shopping with my dad for my birthday present!
• Went shopping with my mom for some necessities
• Watched lots and lots of Rooster Teeth videos
• And before I pack tonight, we will bring down all the Christmas decorations!
• But not before dinner and an episode of My Little Pony :)

Sometimes the best part of your day is just watching stuff get crossed off your to-do list, and feeling accomplished and successful. Like going to the OrgSync meeting and learning tons of great stuff about the website. Or going to dance rehearsal and getting complimented by the choreographer. Or rehearsing scenes with your partners and feeling really good about how well it's going. Or registering for your final semester of classes. Or taking pumpkins to Green Life and seeing how excited they are to actually get pumpkins after Halloween. Or just lying in the theatre with people who matter to you because you did all the things on your list. On top of getting your book club book in the mail and getting better at Rokushaku Bo.

Efficient Shopping

Jess A. and I needed to get some serious shopping done before this weekend and oh man did we get it done. Jess was able to buy her spray paint for about 10 bucks, and TONS of decorations for the Alpha Psi board for less than 20! We already have hella stuff for homecoming, thanks to everyone's contributions. And I spent just under 5 dollars on paint for the pumpkin painting event! So I had 45 dollars for pumpkins. We bought 35. I'm so pumped. I'm so proud! Yay efficiency!

At Least

These girls' gifts are done. The shopping is close to finished. We basically know what we want for decorating on Sunday. Filming is finished. Editing is halfway done. My video is up. I did the laundry. Things are getting done. Tomorrow will be lots of fun.

Monumental Task Complete

After trying to find time for like a week now, my mom and I finally went to Target. We bought basically everything we will need for our church retreat this weekend. It's so close. Hopefully it'll do lots of good for us.

Blessings In Threes

1.  My mentee, Torreke, made me his Woman Crush Wednesday today! And it was super duper sweet! Especially after a kinda rough morning. It just made my heart super happy 'cause I love all my mentees so much and I'm glad they love me back! Best FYS ever.
2. I got to workout today I actually had time what huh what is this magic you speak of I dunno but I did it and I feel AWESOME. Also super hungry like I want to eat literally everything.. But we're ignoring that. Yay diet & exercise!
3. Day 8: Rough

After a rough time of going through the ENTIRE STORE in like 15 days, I had my list of every single item in the store. This was the rough draft. And it was a rough printing job. The finalized version is actually much more concise and neat and easy to read. But now I'm DONE with that big project, and moving on to phase two.  Considering I didn't start phase two until like an hour before closing, I am happy with being 6 pages in (out of 95. It's a lot but hey gotta make it last anyway 'cause this is my job for the summer). YAY PROGRESS AND PRODUCTIVITY.

Bonus: Not as much of a blessing but boy do I feel blessed.
A navy seal walked into the store today for some good old fashioned grocery shopping. I saw him from behind first and IMMEDIATELY was like what? Young white person? Lies. Then I got a good look at him while he was at the register and WHOOOO. My life is changed. I dunno his name, I dunno his age, all I know is he is a gentleman and BEAUTIFUL. He was seriously so sweet to the cashier. And when  had to pass him to keep working, I said excuse me and he said you're fine. My mind was like NO YOU. Seriously, he was swoon worthy. Cute smile and everything. Ah! I passed by the front of the store a few minutes later to get a cart and saw him pacing by his car while on the phone. I just thought FRIEND. HOW CAN I HELP YOU. YOU LOOK SO SAD. DO YOU NEED DIRECTIONS? I CAN DIRECT YOU TO EXACTLY WHERE YOU NEED TO BE RIGHT NOW. Lol it was ridiculous. I was ridiculous. But there has been a shortage of handsome men at this store and THIS ONE SERVES OUR COUNTRY. GOD BLESS AMERICA.

Did I actually post yesterday for the day before and not for the actual day? Help me.

 Yesterday was a lovely snow. I got to sit in and enjoy it. And I got so much stuff done! I'm actually pretty proud of how productive I was when it was so nice out. This getting ready to go back to McDaniel nonsense is not easy. But I think I'm ready. Mind you, after being there for a week, I'll be ready to go home, I'm sure of it. But for now, I know I need to get back and get working again.

ALSO. I finished Season 5 of Doctor Who. 30 more episodes on Netflix! And then I'll be watching it on weird websites with pop up ads like everyone else. Hooray for progress!

Stack Up Against This

Reason 208: My to-do list for this weekend is crazy. No fun times for me (other than the Oscars, obviously. My world stops for the Oscars). BUT the best feeling is crossing stuff off that to-do list. I FINALLY got to do my FAFSA today, hallelujah. And I also got the majority of my tetris board done. Yay! Such a nice feeling. Best part? No class tomorrow, so not only will I get more time for work, but I won't get any more new assignments. Feels good feels good.

Sorry for the lateness! I had no internet at home! Cries in shame

Reason 105: Last night my darling were absolutely WONDERFUL. And tonight I get to see them again. Same show, but different. It's so exciting! It makes me feel nostalgic. I'd spend forever with these kids if I could. But we've all got to grow up some time <3 They're doing just fine.

Also, I've been super productive on my project today. I'm excited for Tuesday! How funny is it to think that when we met, this song was still popular :)
