Big Little Date!

Unintentional, actually, but it all worked. My Little is flawless and I enjoy her company oh so much. Mariah made TONS of pita bread for Mandy which is really cool. Slash impressive. And Mandy and I watched more My Little Pony! She has all of Season 5 to watch now, and this season has some of the best episodes (IMHO), so she's in for a treat. I also gave her the first 17 volumes of Fruits Basket. As I type this, she is starting volume 2. It is, as you may remember, one of my FAVORITE series of all time and I really think she will enjoy it. Maybe get too attached, if she's anything like me, 'cause I was NOT ready to leave this world once I finished the books. But it'll give her warm fuzzies, and teach some really important lessons. I'm glad she's willing to give it a try, and seems to like it. Cookies were made. I finished One Day. Happy times all around.

And as a side note RWBY WRECKED MY LIFE TODAY so this was much needed

I also saw Torreke as The Nutcracker today and the whole experience was so beyond beautiful. I am so immensely proud of my mentee and his incredible gift. And I'm so happy for him because his mommy finally got to see him perform while in Maryland :) (They are from Georgia, so this was quite a trip for her, but she said it was more than worth it).

Back to Ponyville!

I am back on campus and happy to see everyone. I had a Big Little date with Mandy! We watched one of my favorite episodes of My Little Pony, and then watched the Equestria Girls movie. And you already know how in LOVE I am with those. I'm so glad she's enjoying these series. Maybe and season finales should be a thing now? Maybe. We see. I'm happy. And singing all the songs now.

Also, Karla is finally out of the hospital and home with baby girl. God is good.

SO MUCH PONY

New episode of My Little Pony AND the Friendship Games movie?!?!? Yas this is a glorious day and I feel wonderful and yaaay. New episode of Girl Meets World was also nice.

Good to be Herd

My Little Pony released it's 100th episode today. It was incredible. Because not only was it COMPLETELY about the background ponies, but they kept fanon names, included cool music, made jokes about the "slice of life" genre as opposed to the action and adventure genre in regular MLP episodes, AND made Doctor Who references! I'm so proud of them. Seriously. Why wouldn't everyone want to fall in love with a show by a team that listens to their fanbase? Flawless.

My Little has already watched as many Studio Ghibli movies as I have. She has learned about the magic that is Carrie Hope Fletcher. And NOW she is starting My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. OOOH it's so exciting. I just love when people get into new fandoms and explore new worlds. Those are my favorite kinds of journeys.

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Season 5 started today! And the episode was legit and it had lots of cool new plot devices and my new favorite villain. It was a hella dark metaphor for a totalitarian society and it had some really deep meanings but like it was still SO accessible to kids and the bottom line was being yourself and embracing what makes you special is a GREAT thing. I LOVE THIS SHOW.

Shared It's Magic

Reason 346: Watched it.

The music isn't as good as it is in the series, but it's not bad. The plot is cute and a lot of fun. The writing is brilliant as always; you can always count on these guys to do right in the eyes of the fans. AND THERE'S A BOY! Seriously, I fangirled so hard because of the boy. I don't know why I knocked the idea of it so much. I was scared of the failure I guess. But honestly? This production team, and even these actors, listen to their fanbase! They would never go through with anything that they weren't 100% sure of. The fans always made cartoons and images of the Mane 6 as humans. Now, it is a real thing. No one said it would be a whole series. It's just this one movie. And it was done so well. I'm so happy with it. AND since my mother wants to watch it even more than I did, I'll get to watch it again! Any one who is a fan, whether they still watch the show religiously or just enjoyed it a while ago, will definitely have a great time with this movie.

Reason 203: Usually, I have to fight to keep contact with old friends. I'm just bad at letting go, so I make it a point to catch up with people often. Today, however, I didn't have to. I've actually been contacted by a good number of people for actual conversations. Alex, Evan, Jason, and even Harrison. It really is a nice feeling, just to be able to talk to someone after a while and know that you are on their mind. Plus, so much laughter!

The Herd

Reason 185: I get the greatest satisfaction when people judge me for watching My Little Pony, and then they watch it and think, "It's actually not that bad". They don't have to be die hard fans or bronies or part of the herd. That's fine. I am. But as long as people give things a chance, I think they'll learn about more of the wonderful things life has to offer. Hoof bump!

Reason 175: Restarting! So I trimmed my hair again! Same as before hehe. And I'm spending this night with Karla (again haha). And My Little Pony is back today!!! AND, although videos are still being rebellious, I FOUND OUT HOW TO UPLOAD PICS AGAIN! Mwuahhahah! And as for videos, I can still use links, like this one of two people being precious/funny. Yay loopholes!

Reason 144: Spending the day with Karla. She seems to be doing better. Her energy levels are down, as expected, but she's eating! She's actually eating! And she's yet to feel sick. I seriously find that to be an incredible success. For the most part, she's been in a positive mood, and that's all I can ask for. She also told me to think long and hard before I ever get pregnant haha. Okay Karla, I know <3

Also, point for Sammy! Emily is into My Little Pony :DD

Reason 131: I have medicine!!! Finally! I can start taking this stuff and start feeling better :)  I look forward to regaining the ability to function hehe. Until then, my bed is my best friend. That and MLP teehee

Sorry for the lateness! I had no internet at home! Cries in shame

Reason 105: Last night my darling were absolutely WONDERFUL. And tonight I get to see them again. Same show, but different. It's so exciting! It makes me feel nostalgic. I'd spend forever with these kids if I could. But we've all got to grow up some time <3 They're doing just fine.

Also, I've been super productive on my project today. I'm excited for Tuesday! How funny is it to think that when we met, this song was still popular :)
