Learn As You Go

Sometimes people teach you. Sometimes they have the best intentions at heart. Sometimes they study and read and listen and observe and learn on their own. And, in order to make you better, sometimes they share what they have learned with you. And sometimes, they're wrong.

How nice to finally have enough sense to know that they are wrong. That they tried. That you shouldn't hold it against them. And that in reality you should thank them because they equipped you with the tools to go and seek the truth for yourself.

Graduation

Doctor says I'm all clear! Nothing to be worried about here! ^_^ Also I haven't grown -___- but everything looks fine! Also, I've graduated from Pediatrics. No more child doctor. I will now have to go to a young adult doctor :o Looks like I'll no longer be seeing my favorite map of the world drawn by a certain little boy I knew <3 But it's okay. I did everything by myself today! It sucked haha. I don't understand why people get so excited to do things by themselves for the first time. "It means we're all grown up!" So? Haha I, for one, tend to stay a child for as long as I possibly can. Even if Pediatrics says I've upgraded :P

Speaking of Graduation, let's be real, that's the last time Kanye released anything good

thisroutehastolls

Reason 327: I am such a scared person. I hate change. I am terrified of trying new things. I do not want to grow up at all. I get upset thinking about how much my friends have changed after high school, not because they're worse but just because they've changed at all. I get excited about milestones like graduation and college and my first job, not because I'm genuinely excited, but because I know these steps are necessary for my future so I'm more happy to have it over with. And the major reason for all of this, for my clinginess and my inability to change is that I am so afraid to fail. I always have been. It's probably part of my lack of self-confidence. If it's something I must do, such as school and work, which will help me grow and be the person I want to be, I will try to be as absolutely positive as possible because being negative affects performance and, quite frankly, isn't as fun! I'd much rather be positive and spread positivity.

Welp, I'm 18 now. No, that isn't really adulthood and anyone who says it is is a fool. However, I'm starting to make decisions on my own. Big decisions. These are decisions about projects that I may or may not start. Best case scenario, these projects are life-changing. And these are projects that I DO want to dedicate time to. Not because I am being forced to. Not because it's what is the logical choice in terms of my future. But because I have a genuine interest and would like to tackle them. Whether or not I will go through with any of these projects is unknown as of yet. But the idea of finally making changes that I actually want to make is enough to make me cry. So many possibilities!

The title is a reference to one of the potential plans. This is one I REALLY want to happen and is very likely going to. It involves your sister, actually! You may ask us about it if you wish. Nothing has been finalized for it as of yet, other than that name. HOPEFULLY it's a name you will see often in the not so distant future ;)

We're Huggy People

Reason 309: My friend Samira graduated! She was the friend who made this. So we, the youth group, had a little party for her. I mean, party in the fun hanging out sense. Similar to the one we had for her brother (Fabrizio), myself, and Diego last year. And it was seriously ridiculous amounts of fun. I know I talk about this group a lot. But just having them there for me to laugh with, talk to, and fangirl over Cristina about is such a blessing. Oh, the ridiculous amounts of laughter. Plus, I spent the day with Keila! My favorite little girl. Seriously, she and I are besties haha. In to years, it'll be Idalis' and Chris' turn!

I'm not a Ke$ha fan and we all know this, but I know that you love her. So, let's talk about why I can't get her song "Crazy Kids" out of my head?

Another Year Over

Reason 130: Today is my birthday! I'm 18 now. safjjdhajkgkad! Doesn't matter. I'll be a kid forever :) And I'll play with my new presents. And watch kids shows and movies. And be me, no matter what. Meanwhile, I love that so many people thought of me today. It really is quite beautiful. I love my friends :)

Also, HAPPY BIRTHDAY WALT DISNEY!

Laugh In the Face Of Danger

Reason 108: That was AWESOME. I thoroughly enjoyed that. I told our story, in its most basic form I suppose. But I was still able to really get it all off my chest. People loved it. They were really into it! And they thought it was cool. And they thought it was relatable (lolwut). Oh, and it was 18 minutes long (LOUL). But the best part? After all that, I laughed. I laughed at so many points telling this story. Like, it's crazy. This is something that, at the time, broke me. I was miserable, and seriously found no good outlook on it. But now I can look back on it and say "look how silly I was. Look how big a deal I made it. Look at everything I went through we went through. And look where we are now" :)

Everytime.

Proud Crying

Reason 106: Today in church, Keila accepted Jesus into her heart. I don't know if you remember Keila. When you came to visit, she was the little girl who was super shy and afraid to say hi to you, but I asked her for a hug and she gave me a super big bear hug? I know that's pretty vague. But it touched my heart. I've watched this little girl grow up. She's so special to me. And to see her take this major step in her faith is so beautiful to me. I teared up a good bit. Many blessings to her :)

Let's make tomorrow a selfless day. Let's try to do our best to think of others before we think of ourselves. I'm sure we can make something great of it!

Sorry for the lateness! I had no internet at home! Cries in shame

Reason 105: Last night my darling were absolutely WONDERFUL. And tonight I get to see them again. Same show, but different. It's so exciting! It makes me feel nostalgic. I'd spend forever with these kids if I could. But we've all got to grow up some time <3 They're doing just fine.

Also, I've been super productive on my project today. I'm excited for Tuesday! How funny is it to think that when we met, this song was still popular :)

And now FIRST EPISODE OF THE THIRD SEASON OF MY LITTLE PONY
No Shame.

Finally Free

Reason 11: I'm finally getting smart. I'm realizing how good change could be in my life. Maybe it's just what I need :)

And flashback mode starts... NOW:
