VBS 2017

The theme was Galactic Observers. I was in charge of arts & crafts. Two of my least favorite things: space and leading children.

I walked into this feeling inadequate and incapable and stressed beyond all belief. I felt like I spent too much and I made too much work for people and like the kids hated me and were so bored by my instructions. But today it all came together. My hardest projects were today. They took a lot of material and, when I tried it, I wasn't fully happy with the results. But WOW did it turn out way better than I anticipated. The kids had a really great time today. And their projects look AMAZING. I'm so proud and so impressed. I almost want to keep them for myself. I won't. But it just feels nice to know I did something right. I don't know if I'd do it again - I think there are other people better suited for it that will enhance the children's experiences overall. But I'm grateful for the opportunity and the trust. And for pretty colors in space.

Now, she finally relaxes

More LITTLE Things

Specifically, I love my Little. Which we all knew. But today, she had her first day of camp. It's a theatre camp she works at every year. I know very little about it, other than kids in, I assume, middle school put on mini-shows or recitals after two weeks and learn more about performing. Yay! She has been looking forward to it a while. And today, she sent the zebras a picture of her Disney princess lunchbox! The one I bought for her as part of her giant reveal gift. I'm super happy that, not only did she liked it, but she's actually found a use for it! And it turns out that her coworkers enjoyed it as well. It was actually so great to hear. Yay perfect Little!

Independent

Title to be read in the voice of Rudolph

Reason 303: Today was my first day on my ownsome for work. Yeah, I had to work on Memorial Day. But they let me do it all by myself. :$ Eek! But it's okay. Everything went pretty well :D I'd call today a success. Feels good ^_^.

Happy Memorial Day :)
Um, yeah, this is perfection. No one sings it like her.

The Herd

Reason 185: I get the greatest satisfaction when people judge me for watching My Little Pony, and then they watch it and think, "It's actually not that bad". They don't have to be die hard fans or bronies or part of the herd. That's fine. I am. But as long as people give things a chance, I think they'll learn about more of the wonderful things life has to offer. Hoof bump!

O:)

Mission: Success

Reason 146: Christmas shopping is DONE! HALLELUJAH! Maybe not the best gifts, considering I have zero source of income, but it's one less thing to worry about. HOORAY FOR HOLIDAYS!

Had this thought going through my head all day. One of my absolute favorite youtubers

Be Prepared

Reason 136: The positive "I-got-this" attitude called feeling prepared. I've studied for my math exam tomorrow and honestly, I'm not worried! I dunno, maybe I should be? But I've done really well in that class. And I seriously feel like, as long as I use the right formulas, I shouldn't be getting much wrong! I'll be careful of little mistakes, and maybe even get an A on a math final! I really feel confident. And for me, that's an amazing feeling :D

MLP is now my life. I don't know why, but it's just EVERYWHERE.

PS: I feel like you'd really like Fluttershy (yellow with pink hair). My favorite is Rarity (white with purple. Yay fashion ponies!!)

Laugh In the Face Of Danger

Reason 108: That was AWESOME. I thoroughly enjoyed that. I told our story, in its most basic form I suppose. But I was still able to really get it all off my chest. People loved it. They were really into it! And they thought it was cool. And they thought it was relatable (lolwut). Oh, and it was 18 minutes long (LOUL). But the best part? After all that, I laughed. I laughed at so many points telling this story. Like, it's crazy. This is something that, at the time, broke me. I was miserable, and seriously found no good outlook on it. But now I can look back on it and say "look how silly I was. Look how big a deal I made it. Look at everything I went through we went through. And look where we are now" :)

Everytime.
