I have this new guilty pleasure that I do when I procrastinate. I binge watch reaction videos. Usually from youtubers I've never even heard of. And almost always reactions to Pentatonix and Superfruit. Because I absolutely LOVE watching these people's jaws DROP because of how talented these fools are. It gives me so much joy and I can't even explain why. A weird kind of Proud Momma Syndrome I suppose.

I'm literally so happy that the new video is doing so well. It's hilarious, and I'm mega proud of it. I'm also super amused that people have been playing along? Like, how cute is that?! Jess (Mies) got super possessive and was determined to get the highest score lol. She did super freaking well! So did my Little <3 but of course Karla got 100% because she's my flawless big sister. Basically I'm super thrilled with how the adventure turned out. And now I'm jamming to Tori Kelly's VMA performance and Pentatonix's new single Can't Sleep Love. Home for the weekend <3

I Should Stop Doing Things

I posted a cover of a song today on thisroutehastolls. It's not great. I mean, I'm not thrilled. Like, I'm my worst critic, so I notice every place something isn't perfect which is a lot. But like. I did it? And that still feels really good? I dunno. It's weird. But it's just cool to think that not so long ago the idea of the public seeing me at all was so scary and now this is my 17th video and I'm doing what I love to do, aware of my mistakes and doing it anyway. So. Yay.

So I'm back from my trip. And my body is drained. So I will relax today. I already caught up on the new RWBY episode yesterday and about 20 youtube videos. And earlier today I caught up on about 4 Let's Plays from Rooster Teeth. I still need to watch the new episodes for Korra, Girl Meets World, Sword Art Online, Free, and Shippuden. Ah lazy days! <3

I think this is my favorite video D-Trix has ever posted. 'Cause it's got a whole bunch of my favorite Youtubers being absolute goofballs. And it also has some pretty awesome dancers who I admire. And honestly, all I've ever wanted is just for people to feel content and smile and dance everywhere they go. To me, it's like the ultimate expression of satisfaction.

Odds Are

Odds are I don't get to go on this amazing Jan Term. It's sad, but I think I'm getting used to the idea. I have to accept reality and the fact that there is no money for these things. MEANWHILE. If I were to miss the trip, why not take a trip of my own? To Toronto for example? BufferFest, the Youtube gathering, will be in Toronto this November and I WANT TO GO SO BADLY. I mean seriously, LOOK at that schedule. Obviously, the tickets don't come cheap. But that would be AMAZING. Kimberly is thinking of going SO we might be able to go together! And apparently your mom already offered up her home to me. Like, omg if this works out <3 I'm such a dreamer. Who knows if anything will work. I may very well not travel anywhere for the next 5 years. But I still like to get excited about things! Possibilities are always endless. Why not dream big?

The Death of The Work Crush

Title for the sequel to my book. You like? Hehe

(In reference to a joke I made saying I would make a book entitled A Week Without the Work Crush)

So as I have previously mentioned to a few people, le work crush has a girlfriend. As soon as I found this out, I was past it. I'm basically unable to have feelings for anyone who is off limits. Call it a survival tactic. Anyway, as soon as someone is taken, I stop the feelings I have for them. I'd much rather just be happy for them ^_^. SO I saw him today for the first time since I found out. And you know what? It was nice. Because we just chatted. He realized I was sick (seriously guys, my boss sent me home early. Did I look THAT BAD?) and he wished me well. And it was cool because there were actually no real feelings. He was just someone I could talk to. Maybe not a friend, because hoping for an actual friend in my workplace is like asking for Rosario to Vampire to have an actual story. He's just someone I can talk to, and that's really all I ask for :)

SO. You've heard me talk about Becoming Youtube, another Youtube documentary. Which I'm in love with. So THIS? Looks amazing. I can't wait for it to come out. I'm so excited.

Reason 336: I got a letter AGES ago. It was a job offer from some company called Vector. It was some business thing. I overlooked it because business is NOT my territory. Jess, however, took it. That's all I knew. TURNS OUT. That company is getting sales representatives for knives from a brand called CutCo. Fabrizio works for them and set up an appointment with my mother tonight. So he was just chilling at our house selling knives. Very good knives I might add. I told Jess, because she asked about this random boy who was appearing a my home, and she was like DANGIT I WAS GONNA ASK YOUR MOM! Haha. This world we live in is so small. The part that blows my mind is I actually want to do what they're doing, just for a different company, and I overlooked it! Uysh. I fail haha. Anyway, after his pitch, my mom invited him to spend some more time hanging out. She gave him food and sat him down comfortably. So we basically hung out and talked about whatever for the evening. It was more than pleasant :) I'm so glad I've gotten closer to him this year.

Speaking of small world. My favorite thing ever is when Youtubers know each other and collaborate.

Reason 326: Spencer texted me at work today! Ah! So it turns out he works at an Italian restaurant this summer! Oh, well then. Guess where the girls and I are gonna go soon! Reunited (over Italian food yet again) and it feels so good! ;)

Reason 294: One fantastic thing about being home is the radio. It's seriously crazy how much I miss Hot 99.5 specifically. Today, I have BLASTED The Way, Fine China, Get Lucky, I Love It, Clarity, and soooo many others. And, even though Kane has new interns now, the Kane Show will always be my favorite thing to listen to. Hooray for music!! It is the only thing getting me through this lack of internet.

I'll be honest. I miss waking up and watching anime.

  

Apparently the people from Comcast will come to check the modem out AGAIN on the 21st. May 21st = LLFD + RAM + Internet Icon + Internet. So much is riding on this one Tuesday.

Becoming Youtube

Reason 279: SO I'm sure I've mentioned this series to you before. It's called Becoming Youtube. And it's really just this guy, interviewing youtube stars, figuring out how this social network works as a community. And it really is super amazing. So, after over a month of waiting, EPISODE 8! YAY! Seriously, when you get the chance, WATCH IT. I'll just post the 1st episode right here...

Reason 257: BEAUTIFUL day outside, so my only class of the day is outside. We practice Chinese exercises. Theatre majors have all the fun. I am FINALLY done with registration. I will be taking astronomy. And my gym is a Musical Theatre Dance class. YES TO THIS.
