Boys & Bloodfest
I went to see Bloodfest yesterday with Xabiel & Nestor. Obviously the two of them couldn't really talk much, it was a movie. But it occurred to me how much they have in common. I may try to hang out with them both again soon. Anyway, I appreciate these guys who know nothing about this film other than my wanting to see it, going along with me and spending their money to spend time with me. I had fun! They showed other RT content before the film, so I got to talk Xabiel's ear off about this company that I'm so in love with. And I enjoyed the movie. It was far from perfect but still so fun and clever and cool looking. I was for sure entertained. I'm glad I got the chance to catch up with Xabiel - he always makes me so happy with the direction his life is headed. And honestly it was just a moment of realizing how much I appreciate these guys. Lots of people have let me down this year but I can count on these two and it's a healthy, full relationship. I went home wishing we had more time together.

Ellie for Wifey
I went to the doctor's office this morning! Took advantage and got me some meds for my face. Because my acne is going to be the death of me and I'm literally at my wits end about it. So yaaaay actual medication! And lucky for me, I didn't have to go straight to birth control. We're gonna go for an antibiotic first. It's like the best news I could've gotten. Obviously, day 1, no idea if it will help. But I'm thrilled to try something new.
I am now watching a whole lot of Rooster Teeth content. It's been such a great evening of laughter. Like, RT always makes me laugh. But today has been QUA-LI-TYYYY. I love these idiots.

This Is A Live Show
I absolutely love when internet stars do live productions because wow is it a whole new world when they can't edit their mistakes out. Stalling for time for TEN MINUTES because of technical difficulties is a reality that makes them feel panicked and embarrassed, but the rest of us performers are just smiling and supporting them the whole time haha. Welcome to live theatre, kids. You're in the Hippodrome. Don't feel bad at all.
I went to Let's Play Live last night with Eric. He was amazing enough to buy me a ticket so we could go see our favorite losers from Texas play some video games. I had a blast. I screamed so loud. I could not believe they were real and actually in front of me. And in a theatre that I used to go to all the time, no less! It was hilarious to watch them make a mess and feel bad about dirtying such a beautiful venue. I thought "the last time I was here, I saw Wicked, and now I'm watching eight idiots play a game about penises". Crazy. But WOW was it worth it. They showed so much fun exclusive content and the energy was unbelievable and the costumes were super fun and I just had a great time. It was so cool to be surrounded by so many other fans, cheering on the crew that we have all fallen in love with. Four of the boys ran through the theatre and went into the balcony. Not only did they run right next to me, but I actually got a high five.
We waited an hour after the end of the show because Eric is a gem and I really wanted to see if we could meet them. Three of them came out to say hello and take pictures by their tour bus. I could've cried I was so happy. I still can't stop smiling just thinking about it. They are SO NICE and so fun and you can tell they love what they do and are so grateful to their fans. I'm so happy they came to Baltimore. We were blessed haha. Michael Jones is too handsome in person, y'all. And he was the smiliest. I told him we were sad Lindsay couldn't make the trip, and asked him to send our love along. And Jack Patillo is such a warm soul? I don't understand how I felt so comfortable around him, but I did. I spend SO MANY HOURS every day watching these people online, and now they were real and I could see them and feel them and I'll remember it forever.
Now my throat is sore from yelling (slash smokers in Baltimore) and I'm exhausted. Completely worth it.

Comfort Levels
I now own a RWBY onesie from Rooster Teeth. My first onesie. I've wanted one for forever and, thanks to Michael, now I have one. And it's RWBY! I'm blessed. And grateful. And the most comfortable you could ever imagine seriously I don't want to take this off ever.

Lazer. Freaking. Team.
It happened. Moises and I drove all the way to White Marsh to have the time of our lives. Long drive. We got there EXACTLY on time. And wow I loved it. Like, as a stand alone movie oh my gosh who would even watch this nonsense, it's so funny but so freaking stupid. But as a part of Rooster Teeth and all they do, WOW it was great. So so so much fan service, I can't even begin to fully describe. And it's so amazing to see my favorite people on the big screen. They worked SO STINKIN' HARD and did such a great job. And, as someone who has never been to a convention or anything of the sort previously, I can't accurately describe the beautiful experience that is being in a room full of people that all love the same thing you do. The amount of RT merch was glorious, and not a single reference went unnoticed.
Day 27: Distant
Another road. On the way to White Marsh for Lazer Team :)

Mermaid Enabling
Aside from spending the afternoon with Mariah and my fave Mandy, and watching lots of great stuff with them, I got to share my mermaids, which they all loved and supported haha. Mariah might make story for me. And THEN, Miss LINDSAY JONES HERSELF, QUEEN OF ROOSTER TEETH, retweeted my RWBY mermaids (or Mermaidens as one of my favorite blogs called them). I'm happy :3
Day 26: Reflection
The snow is finally melting and I am thrilled

1-23-15
I love when the Rooster Teeth family expands. I watched the new On the Spot and finally got to really see Trevor Collins' personality. I'd seen him in a few Achievement Hunter videos for brief moments at a time but I never realized he was such a cutie! Not just in looks but he's a goofball oh my goodness precious darling. It makes me happy to see that he, unlike Jeremy (who does not deserve a single ounce of the hate he gets considering he is a hilarious, talented, brilliant, genuine man and handsome to boot), has been so wonderfully received by fans. This family keeps growing and I love it so much.
Day 23 (late): Friend
The greatest friendship I've ever known

RT Lady Love
Sometimes, all I need is a little bit of Rooster Teeth to make my day. Seriously, they crack me up. And we all know I love me some RT Ladies. So having four of my favorite gals as guests for On the Spot today, with precious puppy host Jon Risinger, was seriously the highlight of my day. I was rolling on the floor. I want to be just like these women. Lord knows why 'cause they're all vulgar and insane hahaha. But they are queens. Queens of comedy. And also my life.
I am really digging this. I wanna do it as a duet.
Know any Christian, Hispanic, male singers?

DoomSword is a Band
Days off are a beautiful thing. Relaxing and doing a whole lot of nothing. It's fab. Especially when you get to laugh it off. Thank you Rooster Teeth! Thank you On the Spot! The new episode is high-larious. And Shannon McCormick is my fave!
Day 3: Red
Featuring my fantastic 80's jacket
and some fun red lipstick
(I feel like tons of girls went the lipstick route)

RWBY Mermaids
I made a tweet containing a picture I made today. The tweet now has 314 favorites and 48 retweets. The picture was of mermaids.
Based on the main girls from the show RWBY
Who are voiced by these amazing ladies.
The tweet was retweeted by Barbara Dunkelman, voice of Yang
And by Lindsay Jones, voice of Ruby.
It was favorited by Arryn Zech, voice of Blake,
and by Kara Eberle, voice of Weiss, who ALSO followed me
As well as actress and real life cute, Mica Burton
and Anna Hullum, wife of the Rooster Teeth CEO Matt Hullum,
and creator of these amazing costumes for the girls.
I'm kind of sort of on a high right now, don't mind me.
But actually I'm screaming I'm so happy I could burst.

Achievement
Guess who bought her first Rooster Teeth merch today!!! I mean. I own plenty of RT things. Thanks to the generosity of my friends, I have a keychain, a CD, slapbands, and a shirt. BUT this is the first thing I bought myself. And I'm super mega proud of it. It's a Red vs Blue shirt and it has the three (current) main female characters on it. I'm so happy with it. We FINALLY have merch that highlights the power of the ladies. It's about time. Hopefully this sells well and they continue to realize how much we want this :3

Proud... Whatever... Syndrome
I can't say Proud Momma Syndrome because I am in no way, shape, or form the mother of these people. I'm also younger than literally everyone in the company. But Rooster Teeth just makes me happy. And I love seeing them succeed and slowly change the world :)
It's a half hour video, so you don't have to watch. Meanwhile I had it on in the background like 3 times today. SO PROUD.

Right Back At It Again
Happy 12th Anniversary, Rooster Teeth! Congratulations on all the lives you've touched with your amazing creativity and beautiful hearts. Today was the public release of Episode 1 of Season 12 of Red vs Blue. So good. Soooo goood. I can't tell you how much I missed these characters. But you know what else I've missed? This community. The conspiracy theories. The excitement and group fangirling. I live for it. And it is back in my life :D And this time, I have someone to physically watch it with me! Hooray for Moises.

My Best Friend Michael
So my friend Jess, theatre Jess not roommate Jess, and I worked together a lot last year. In the time we worked together, we discovered that her boyfriend and I have a lot in common. We both play only badminton, we both love the theatre, and we both have a pretty big obsession with Rooster Teeth. He leans more towards Achievement Hunter, but details. We joke all the time saying we are best friends. Well, as we bonded and chatted about it, he decided to get Jess into it. Long story short, she enjoys the content with us now, and when the animated series XRay and Vav was released (featuring my favorite at the time Ray and her favorite at the time Gavin), we would talk about it all the time. Well, today, Jess got a package in the mail from Rooster Teeth! She didn't order anything. It was a gift from Michael. And inside, there were TWO shirts. And one was smaller than the other. What does this mean? I'll tell you what it means. Michael bought Jess a Vav shirt and he bought me an XRay shirt. I cannot begin to tell you how thrilled I am. He bought me my first Rooster Teeth shirt. I squealed. I almost cried. I'm RIDICULOUSLY happy. And now Jess & I can be lame superheroes. It doesn't hurt that we look the slightest bit like them, too!

A Sense of Community
The Rooster Teeth fandom is far from perfect, but I promise we come together when it matters.
Monty Oum is an employee at Rooster Teeth. He is best known for writing RWBY and doing the fight choreography and motion capture scenes in RWBY and Red vs Blue. He's also a great dancer, a dog person, a loving husband, and an all around wonderful person. Today, we found out that Monty has been hospitalized. "He is currently hospitalized in critical care and it is not known if he will recover. He is receiving the best medical care possible and is surrounded by both family and friends who love him very much."
A go fund me page was created in order to help Monty's family with his medical expenses. The ultimate goal was $50,000.
In the span of 5 hours, they have raised $100,500. And if I know this community at all, that number will only continue to rise until the man we all admire so much is back home with the people he loves. It is the absolute least we can do for a person who has brought so much joy to our lives.

Playing Ketchup!
So I'm back from my trip. And my body is drained. So I will relax today. I already caught up on the new RWBY episode yesterday and about 20 youtube videos. And earlier today I caught up on about 4 Let's Plays from Rooster Teeth. I still need to watch the new episodes for Korra, Girl Meets World, Sword Art Online, Free, and Shippuden. Ah lazy days! <3

Odds Are
Odds are I don't get to go on this amazing Jan Term. It's sad, but I think I'm getting used to the idea. I have to accept reality and the fact that there is no money for these things. MEANWHILE. If I were to miss the trip, why not take a trip of my own? To Toronto for example? BufferFest, the Youtube gathering, will be in Toronto this November and I WANT TO GO SO BADLY. I mean seriously, LOOK at that schedule. Obviously, the tickets don't come cheap. But that would be AMAZING. Kimberly is thinking of going SO we might be able to go together! And apparently your mom already offered up her home to me. Like, omg if this works out <3 I'm such a dreamer. Who knows if anything will work. I may very well not travel anywhere for the next 5 years. But I still like to get excited about things! Possibilities are always endless. Why not dream big?
