Boys & Bloodfest
I went to see Bloodfest yesterday with Xabiel & Nestor. Obviously the two of them couldn't really talk much, it was a movie. But it occurred to me how much they have in common. I may try to hang out with them both again soon. Anyway, I appreciate these guys who know nothing about this film other than my wanting to see it, going along with me and spending their money to spend time with me. I had fun! They showed other RT content before the film, so I got to talk Xabiel's ear off about this company that I'm so in love with. And I enjoyed the movie. It was far from perfect but still so fun and clever and cool looking. I was for sure entertained. I'm glad I got the chance to catch up with Xabiel - he always makes me so happy with the direction his life is headed. And honestly it was just a moment of realizing how much I appreciate these guys. Lots of people have let me down this year but I can count on these two and it's a healthy, full relationship. I went home wishing we had more time together.

Black Friday
Any day I get to sleep in is a gift, honestly. I also got to film today, without the pressure of a deadline, so it felt good. I like when I get to use new things for the first time, so wearing my new shirt and using my new mug gave me the simplest pleasure. In my video, I mentioned that PINOF was coming out soon and SURE ENOUGH it came out this evening. I've already watched it twice. I love Dan & Phil, in case no one noticed. Michael came over today! I'll be honest it was a bit odd just because our dynamic is so different from basically every other time we've hung out alone. But not weird in an awkward way, weird in a wow we've grown as people kind of way. We watched Atlantis, which is vastly underrated, and we agreed that he's absolutely Milo and I'm absolutely Audrey. Except she's way cooler than I am, especially at 14. Then we watched Lemonade Mouth because I insist that everyone needs to see it and he actually enjoyed it so I call today a success. We went to the mall which I've never done on Black Friday. I tried to return a dress but since I waited so long, they could only exchange it, so I took advantage and got a different dress, along with some PJ pants AND Jess' Christmas present! We went into FYE and I finally saw Pumpkin Pete's cereal in person. I was tempted to buy it but ya girl isn't about to spend $13 on a cereal box. We really had a great time. And now I'm home and I will start editing soon. Whenever I stop rewatching PINOF. It's a good day, guys. Do you know how long I've wanted a day off? How long I've needed a day that felt completely mine? Yesterday and today are better than anything I could've asked for. Seriously. My body needed this.

"You Better Blog About Me"
It's been a minute since I've written here. Let's play Catch Up. I'll keep this as close to chronological as I can, and we will see how that goes.
- No rehearsal feels weird, but it's nice to have some time to myself again
- Mother's Day plans went swimmingly and my mommy mostly seemed happy to have her grandkids in the house hehe
- I always love watching Eric come to our house. He misses his family lots
- Spending a full day with Michael was a ridiculous adventure. I am grateful for his friendship. I am also grateful for mediocre cheesecakes. And I'm glad I could fulfill my purpose and introduce one more person to the perfection of The Princess & the Frog
- Cristina had a cute little picnic at her school which was a lot of fun, and I was greatly amused by the folksy band they had playing there
- I hit the one year mark. I honestly was surprisingly okay? The day of the kid's graduation was a lot harder than the one year "anniversary" or whatever you want to call it. Either way. It happened. The "experts" tell me the hard part is over now. Thank God, I'm over this nonsense haha
- I went to a Burlesque show with Charlotte. We were there to support Emma & Dale. It was a fun time and we got sushi and I enjoyed the evening with a cool person
- I went to McDaniel graduation. I won't go into details 'cause I'm enough of an emotional mess about this school and these people every other day. It was nice. Goodbyes are hard
- I went on a date. And it was mediocre. But I was glad I tried. And then we saw Everything Everything which I absolutely adored and thought was so well done and it reminded me that I cannot settle for who I date because WOW do I need someone who gets me and puts butterflies in my tummy and helps me see the world in a new light. Like. This movie was so good. And I don't expect my life to be a movie. But I'm allowed some expectations
- My Tio Jhonny was here from El Salvador and we got to have dinner with him one evening. He finally met my nephew, and we had a good time catching up
- Michael & Lindsay Jones had their baby. Her name is Iris and she's a little nugget and the internet exploded and Michael is already THAT dad. He's going to drive some people freaking insane. I love it
- I had dinner with my old friend Alex yesterday. I got to meet his girlfriend, catch up with his wonderful mommy, and see his pup again! I literally love that dog so much. I also saw his brother, and was slightly amused by how much he liked my flower crown (shout out to Mandy, I got compliments all day). We got to really talk about our lives for the first time in ages, which was awesome. And he was a gem and paid for me. He made me feel really special, especially because he made it a point to tell me that he seriously felt sorry that we weren't in contact too much during college, and he missed me. It's always nice to hear that, after being the one who constantly hung onto other people and begged them to stay in her life, other people want to make the effort to keep me around. When he dropped me off at home, he yelled the title of this post out his window
- A little over two months until Canada. I'm beyond ready

Courage, Kindness, & Magic
I would be more than okay never hearing that phrase again to be honest. It was quite overused. HOWEVER. I am absolutely enchanted by the new version of Cinderella. It's incredibly magical. And visually, absolutely stunning. The costumes and sets are to die for. And lemme tell you. Rob Stark makes a very handsome prince. Swoon.

Movie Magic
My Little & I sorta kinda unintentionally traded movies today. Rather, we watched movies we knew the other person liked and told each other about it. I watched How to Train Your Dragon 2. Considering I'd only seen the first one a few weeks prior, it was all still fresh in my mind. I didn't wait five years for Hiccup to grow handsome. I don't think I even waited five weeks. BUT. It was lovely all the same. True to the original, not afraid to be real in terms of relationships (familial, romantic, and otherwise), and incredibly heartfelt. I cried. I couldn't help it. It was sad and sweet and fun and beautiful. I'm thrilled with it. Now I must see the other Animated Feature nominees and decide for myself who should've won. I adore Disney, as you know, and I've heard only wonderful things about Big Hero 6. But after Frozen beating The Wind Rises last year, I'm skeptical. (Then again, Spirited Away beat Lilo & Stitch way back when. And although I am so attached to Lilo & Stitch, I can acknowledge Spirited Away earned that victory). What I cannot accept is Howl's Moving Castle losing to Wallace & Gromit. Speaking of Studio Ghibli and Howl's Moving Castle, that's what Mandy watched today. Well, I don't know if she finished it, but she definitely started it. And she's already commenting on the beautiful animation. I could rant about my love for my favorite movie for hours. It's so magical. I may have to watch it again right now, to be honest. Only an hour after she told me she was watching that, Moises told me he is on Season 3 of Red vs Blue. Hooray for sharing interests! Go us.
