- Another sunny day
- Ciara came by the office today! With all the girls in tow. Layla said she liked me haha. I think she found it funny that I was small? But she asked me how old I was and I said I was the same age as her mom. I told her that her mom and I went to school together and she was shocked. She asked if we were friends, and I said of course! And that made her very happy. I got to meet baby Valentina for the first time. She's a few months old now, still so itty bitty. But she's a chunky nugget with big, squishable cheeks and I love her. It was nice to see Ciara again, and to have fun with everyone
- GALA emailed me. I actually got a response. I have a callback, so to speak! Haha they want to see me again. I'm a finalist for the position. Not hired, but a finalist. It's such a confidence boost, honestly. I truly had given up hope on it and thought I'd have to start job hunting again. But maybe not yet. Maybe God has ideas. And she was super sweet, too. Like, wow. This might actually happen
- Shopping for class on Sunday is complete! Hopefully my ideas end up working out. Shoutout to Claudia who heard I was going to Michaels and was like nah, take my Joann's coupons. Love her so dang much
- CHARLOTTE GOT INTO GRAD SCHOOL! As if there was any doubt but like I'M SO THRILLED FOR HER IT'S WHAT SHE DESERVES MY WONDERFUL BEST FRANNN
- February is over. I made it. I'm alive. Like, not just hey I completed this challenge. But hey, God granted me life and I didn't squander it. I didn't let my demons get the best of me. I actually came out of the dark hole relatively okay. It's not like the clock strikes midnight and March means no more depression. BUT it means that around now is when my body usually starts to wake up again and I get a better hold of my emotions and plans and such. And, God willing, I get to keep moving forward

Black Friday
Any day I get to sleep in is a gift, honestly. I also got to film today, without the pressure of a deadline, so it felt good. I like when I get to use new things for the first time, so wearing my new shirt and using my new mug gave me the simplest pleasure. In my video, I mentioned that PINOF was coming out soon and SURE ENOUGH it came out this evening. I've already watched it twice. I love Dan & Phil, in case no one noticed. Michael came over today! I'll be honest it was a bit odd just because our dynamic is so different from basically every other time we've hung out alone. But not weird in an awkward way, weird in a wow we've grown as people kind of way. We watched Atlantis, which is vastly underrated, and we agreed that he's absolutely Milo and I'm absolutely Audrey. Except she's way cooler than I am, especially at 14. Then we watched Lemonade Mouth because I insist that everyone needs to see it and he actually enjoyed it so I call today a success. We went to the mall which I've never done on Black Friday. I tried to return a dress but since I waited so long, they could only exchange it, so I took advantage and got a different dress, along with some PJ pants AND Jess' Christmas present! We went into FYE and I finally saw Pumpkin Pete's cereal in person. I was tempted to buy it but ya girl isn't about to spend $13 on a cereal box. We really had a great time. And now I'm home and I will start editing soon. Whenever I stop rewatching PINOF. It's a good day, guys. Do you know how long I've wanted a day off? How long I've needed a day that felt completely mine? Yesterday and today are better than anything I could've asked for. Seriously. My body needed this.

Shopping Trip
I'm so excited I got to go shopping today! But like, at Target haha. I didn't really buy anything fun. I almost bought a CD that I really wanted but nah fam that's $17. I also almost bought a Twister mat to replace the one I lost but nah fam that's $13. Did buy myself some whitening strips for my teeth. $20. What? I'm so upset with that price. Adulting is hard. But whatever. I bought snacks and some microwave meals for work because I really needed them and I didn't want my mommy paying for everything, and I got some desperately needed toiletries INCLUDING a few travel sizes for Chicago! Ahh! I even bought a father's day card for Nick's daddy. I feel so productive and proud. I spent way more than I wanted to, which means I gotta use everything wisely and not let it go to waste. I'd love to say congratulations, parents, I got a job and I learned the value of a dollar wheeee! But let's be real I've been froogal since middle school, I haven't learned anything except for how to pack my own grocery bags :P
Day 13: New
New boxes of pure joy.
This right here is the real reason I didn't want to just go to CVS.

More Dresses
Today I learned that, if and when the time comes, I will not be able to settle on my wedding dress. At least not without making it super obvious that I settled. Please tell me a price before I even look at a single gown.
Mommy and I went shopping today because we're going to a wedding on Friday. I needed a dress for the wedding, and also thought I could reuse it for semi-formal. Mom said I'd buy this one and she will get me a dress for Christmas or New Years as well. Tried on a whole bunch of dresses at Macy's. So pricey! But I had fun! I actually enjoyed trying on dresses and they looked half decent on me. I was excited. And there was a lovely wine colored dress that I liked (and my mom really liked).
Then I tried on this amazing red dress. Seriously, I own like three red dresses already and this one wasn't even all that but OH MY GOODNESS I tried it on and fell in love. The others were nice, too. Much more simple and I wouldn't have to wear a cardigan or anything if I wanted to take it to church. But this dress. Something about the idea of wearing this red dress on my birthday made me so so so happy. But ooh that price tag.
So we put the red dress and the wine dress on hold and we walk across the mall to a store called Bliss (so pretty). Found a lovely red dress. And it was really elegant. It was a nice high low with beautiful lace. And I felt good in it. My mom liked this one better than the one at Macy's, and the tag had a much lower price. But I had my heart set and I could feel it break. I was going to have to settle.
My mom could see how hard the decision was, so she suggested we double check the price at Macy's because many of the dresses were on sale. Turns out both Macy's dresses were cheaper than the one at Bliss. Mind you, my mom wasn't crazy about it because she preferred the last dress. BUT we saved money and I got my perfect red dress! And my mom does still like it, so I suppose it's a compromise on her end. I cannot begin to express how excited I am to wear this beautiful thing on my birthday. And the wedding of course but that's a separate matter.

10-26-15
I spent money I don't have on things my soul needed because I EARNED IT. No I didn't. I don't care. I'm pumped. I bought pajama pants cause Karla said I really should. I bought white jeggings because of my halloween costume, which looks FAB by the way. And I know I'm gonna get a lot of use out of them. And I bought PENTATONIX'S CD WHICH IS NUMBER ONE IN BILLBOARD CHARTS and I also got THE AMAZING BOOK IS NOT ON FIRE BY TWO OF MY FAV YOUTUBERS. I'm actually so happy. I will love these four things forever.

Efficient Shopping
Jess A. and I needed to get some serious shopping done before this weekend and oh man did we get it done. Jess was able to buy her spray paint for about 10 bucks, and TONS of decorations for the Alpha Psi board for less than 20! We already have hella stuff for homecoming, thanks to everyone's contributions. And I spent just under 5 dollars on paint for the pumpkin painting event! So I had 45 dollars for pumpkins. We bought 35. I'm so pumped. I'm so proud! Yay efficiency!

Today Is Goals
Woke up. Ate Cocoa Puffs. Caught up on my shows. And then I did nothing all day but watch Toradora. Oh my goodness. I must hate myself or something because I KNEW I WOULD CRY BUT I JUST LOVE THIS SHOW SO MUCH AND IT'S BEEN SO LONG AHHH. But yeah. That show was my day. I only stopped crying 'cause my mom came home and I needed to go shopping. Ugh. Such great feels.
Also, shout out to me for buying new bras, especially sports bras, AND new headphones, AND tons of food for the apartment, AND TORI KELLY'S ALBUM, FINALLY. I'm pumped.

Costume Shopping!
We are getting little Cristina ready for school. Part of what they do at her school is every Tuesday kids dress in a theme. There's a camo day, a superhero day, a 50's day, and so on. So Karla went on a nice shopping spree and bought stuff for her little outfits. All very cute. I'm super excited!

Today is a list day! That's always good!
- Met up with Storm for lunch. Always a pleasure to see a friend :)
- We had sushi for lunch and I actually really enjoyed it! Hooray for trying new things with an open mind!
- He brought me my book. After I thought he lost my favorite book ever and I would have to buy it again, he finally returned The Phantom Tollbooth to me. Happiness! Joy! Such satisfaction! I just kinda wish I'd had it before I got on a plane haha
- We headed over to Wheaton and I was able to buy some stuff for our service on Saturday.
- We went to FYE and I GOT TWO AWESOME CDS THAT I'VE BEEN WANTING FOR A WHILE NOW. My collections are almost complete :3
- Found out I actually have a REALLY good chance of seeing Anberlin live in November :DDD
- Ran into Peter & Brian at their work, and caught up with them which was lovely
- Daddy picked us up and, after dropping Storm off, bought me some McDonalds.
- We went to my grandma's grave for the 10th anniversary of her passing. He bought her coffee just the way she liked it. It's the 2nd time in my life I've ever seen my dad cry, the first being at her viewing. It hurt but it was sweet. I'm glad I got to go visit her for the first time in years

Not A Shopper
Reason 224: GROCERIES! Hooray for fun trips to Target where you walk through every aisle, and leave with only the food you need to get through the week. And seriously, I NEEDED this food. YAY MILK & CEREAL! Also, managed to buy a birthday present for a certain somepony who is the bestest friend ever. Dunno if he'll like it, but I'm glad I found it nonetheless. (LOL at the fact his mom probably already bought it. Whoops!)

Mission: Success
Reason 146: Christmas shopping is DONE! HALLELUJAH! Maybe not the best gifts, considering I have zero source of income, but it's one less thing to worry about. HOORAY FOR HOLIDAYS!
Had this thought going through my head all day. One of my absolute favorite youtubers

Public Displays of Excitement
Reason 98: Successful shopping day. Hooray for everything on sale. And I NOW OWN VITAL! Yes! This much closer to owning all the Anberlin albums. My night is made. Excuse me while I replay this whole album 1000 times.

From the Cheesecake
Reason 97: Our dear friend Lauren. So unfortunately, thanks to Hurricane Sandy, our plans for New Jersey were cancelled. I will not see my best friend Storm this weekend. Obviously, Emily and I were disheartened. However, Lauren came to our rescue. Her lovely mom is here all weekend and is taking us around for fun times. We went to Towson Mall (best. mall. ever.) and shopped for ages. And we went to Cheesecake Factory! Tomorrow we may go out for breakfast. I needed a night with my girls. And I greatly appreciate the generosity of this family.

Big Spender
Reason 85: There's cheesecake in my fridge. I had funnel cake. I bought 2 shirts. I've made a Pikachu pumpkin, as well as a pumpkin for a wedding on campus. I've been getting compliments on my hair all day. And I've just finished watching my favorite movie, Howl's Moving Castle. So pleased with how my day has gone.

More Than Mediocre
Reason 14: We're doing some dorm shopping today! I'm getting that much closer to a really big change in my life. Making the shopping list honestly got me pretty excited. Ahh! 11 more days?!?!
Jacob & Josh Fu (aka thefumusic) make music! And are just about the sweetest brothers ever. Watching this made me so so happy about my future <3
