Woke up. Ate Cocoa Puffs. Caught up on my shows. And then I did nothing all day but watch Toradora. Oh my goodness. I must hate myself or something because I KNEW I WOULD CRY BUT I JUST LOVE THIS SHOW SO MUCH AND IT'S BEEN SO LONG AHHH. But yeah. That show was my day. I only stopped crying 'cause my mom came home and I needed to go shopping. Ugh. Such great feels.
Also, shout out to me for buying new bras, especially sports bras, AND new headphones, AND tons of food for the apartment, AND TORI KELLY'S ALBUM, FINALLY. I'm pumped.

Beautiful Souls
So a couple of work things that make me super happy, despite mother constantly hovering over me as if I don't know how to behave in a work environment. I love having young people around. That feels weird and old of me to say. But the last time I was working at this store, I was the only person in her teens or near her twenties. It sucked feeling so formal all the time. I felt like a baby, not an employee. But now I have Kevin (my godsister Ariel's little brother) who is like 18 or 19 now. And a guy named Rony (Roni? Ronnie? Ronny? Must ask). Who is probably like 16, and goes to Blair. He doesn't talk to me as much, but he is really chill. It's just NICE to have those people and feel like I can be goofy without my only "peers" going "aww look how cute she is". Joke WITH me, people! Also, I was hired to do a very specific job, but I still find myself helping the cashiers do some of their stuff (as long as it's not behind the register. I remember the struggle. I got their backs). And my boss told me today how she is so happy with me and that I am helping out because she's been asking for all this stuff to be done for MONTHS and I did more work in one day. That felt awesome.
These two videos are very important to me.
Both for very different reasons.
(R.I.P Monty Oum. You make me so proud)

Hey Naruto Shippuden. How have you been? It's been a while. I mean I've sorta been watching your new episode every week, but for the past SEVERAL months, I've only been kinda watching. You know. Filler arc that lasted forever, when all the fans want to see is the end of the war. Gotta say I lost interest for a bit. But you're finally back! Which is so great! And now we can get back to my show <3 What a great feeling. And we got right into the action already! I'm so proud. I've missed you. Good to see you again, buddy.

Final Episode: Journey's End
There is nothing like finishing a good anime. Filled with all that emotion and relief and joy and adventure. Just yes. I love a good story. I love getting so caught up in these lives and these worlds. It's one of my favorite things :3

It's Been A While
SO I have been marathoning Doctor Who for quite a while. I'm finally on Peter Capaldi, yay! I've seen his first 3 episodes. I'm a fan so far. BUT I'm taking a break. I just found out APPARENTLY I have Netflix for 2 more days. Like Friday is the last day. SO. I am on a mission to watch all of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. I shall finish the first half by bed tonight, so I'm not too worried. But lemme just say it feels SO GOOD to marathon anime again. I haven't watched anime like this since January 2014. It's beautiful. I am so happy. I've missed this beautiful experience. And I've missed these characters.

Ready Steady Go...sorta
So here's to finally watching things that I've been trying to see for ages.
I finally saw The Wind Rises
Oh man was it good. I have feelings of hope and love and sacrifice and passion and determination and it's just good you just need to watch it. Plus, it has a pretty great cast!
Also. I went to Alex's house today and FINALLY got to start Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Oh the nostalgia hit me hard already. I finished the first 10 episodes! But soon I will get to the new parts and fall in love with this new series. Eep!

Playing Ketchup!
So I'm back from my trip. And my body is drained. So I will relax today. I already caught up on the new RWBY episode yesterday and about 20 youtube videos. And earlier today I caught up on about 4 Let's Plays from Rooster Teeth. I still need to watch the new episodes for Korra, Girl Meets World, Sword Art Online, Free, and Shippuden. Ah lazy days! <3

Summer = Anime
Not even sorry
Reason 331: THERE'S A NEW ONE. This one you actually should watch. Like, I always say watch Attack On Titan because it's flawless, and oh my gosh it is. But this new series is only 11 episodes and I know you specifically would enjoy it. It starts kinda slow, but it gets into plot fairly quickly after the first episode. It's called Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai (We Still Don't Know the Name of the Flower We Saw That Day). Most people call it Ano Hana (That Flower) for short. It's just so sweet and, for some reason, resonated with me so well. To a degree, all the characters are likable, especially because they are fully aware of their own flaws.Summary short: A bunch of kids were friends. Until one day when one little girl died. That day, a lot of stuff happened between the friends, and of course they never got closure. After she died, the group dissolved. Now in their teens, one of the guys can see her ghost (who for some reason is now a teen, but even she doesn't fully understand why). He thinks she has a wish she never granted before leaving and so he wants to grant it for her so she can move on. To do that, he needs the group back.
Some parts, in structure, are cliche, but the show just handles it so well. The scenes all seem very real. And it really does just tug at your heart strings. I think, as far as how the events play out, everything happens at the right time. I'm so happy with this show. Seriously. Watch it. It'll take less than a day!

El Chisme
Reason 329: Interesting co-workers. I mean, everyone is older, having done this for years, using this job to feed their families and pay bills! So I can't really relate to people that much. Well at the end of the day, I had a nice little chat with Ana. She's a woman who worked in another branch of our store, but she's new to our branch. So we're basically both the new girls, and it's kinda cool 'cause it makes me feel like I'm at least close to someone's level. And it was actually kinda a funny chat, just sharing war stories. I definitely enjoyed. Then a man named Polo joined. He's been in charge of the deli since as long as I can remember. He's known me all my life. He's a bigger guy, absolutely hilarious. Apparently someone asked him about me? He didn't know the guy but he knew his friend. And then I remembered, one kid whose shirt I really liked and I made a joke about it. He was actually pretty attractive (as attractive as the typical Hispanic model can be loli'mgoingtohell). Turns out he asked about me afterwards! And leave it to Polo to come tell me haha. It's odd, but definitely flattering :)
IT'S SATURDAY

I am so READY!

Project 23852389
Reason 312: New project! Because that's all I ever do with my life. I guess it's a good way to occupy my time nice I do get bored often. I got an idea and I carried it out. I'm quite proud of it. I think it's pretty cute. Maybe somewhat unoriginal, but cute nonetheless! This one is a little personal so I'm not gonna go advertising it. Still, I am proud of it and don't mind sharing. If you have any interest, feel free to ask me personally :)
Can we talk about Naruto SD? Because I'm literally still cracking up. Something on the internet actually made me LOL! I couldn't breathe! Ah this show.
Neji is perfect. The end.

This Is What We Do
Reason 307: To be honest, today's reason was also Cristina. She will probably be the best part about my day for as long as I live. But that's kinda cheap, so I will use a new reason.
Today, I spent my afternoon with my bestest friend Alex. We hung out, caught up, ate some Panera, played some vidya, FINALLY got a massage (score!), played with Kiba (eek!), and watched Road to Ninja! Finally! Yay movie time! Not fully what I had been expecting, but so glad I finally got to see it.

"Say Thank You!"
Reason 305: Wednesday is a slow day in work. People rarely shop on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. So, we pass the time entertained by the little ones that walk in. Seriously. There's way too many precious kids. Oh my goodness. You don't even know. They all just say the most darling things :)
The opening. The ending. The animation. The music. The plot. The characters. OH MY LORD IT'S SO GOOD. Attack On Titan. Did I mention the opening?
Lesson Re-Learned: Taking Storm Kowaleski's advice is dangerous. Accurate. But dangerous.

Unexpected Review
Reason 304: So I watched a new anime. It's called Rosario to Vampire.
Prepare for some massive spoilers. Which I won't feel sorry about because this show is NOT worth watching.
So there's this kid, Tsukune. He is pretty weak. He's not the macho type, but rather the sweet and shy type. His build is average, I'd say. He accidentally enrolled into a high school (boarding school). On his first day, he runs into this ridiculously attractive girl named Moka. They become bestest buds on the spot. Once they get to school, all these guys are like HOLY CRAP SHE'S SEXY, and she's all Tsukune <3333333333333 insert hearts and bubbles and pink glitter everywhere. So all these guys already hate Tsukune. First class, Tsukune finds out something very important: This is a school for monsters. It is within a barrier so no humans can get in (whoops). The purpose of the school is for monsters and humans to coexist, SO since humans aren't exactly fond of monsters, there are 2 major rules. One, all students must be in human form at all times. Two, you must not tell anyone your true monster identity. Because of these rules, Tsukune is able to go undiscovered (by everyone except Moka, who he already told). Turns out, Moka's rosary around her neck is a seal. Once it is pulled off, her true vampire self is revealed (she goes from a cutie with pink hair and green eyes to a BAMF with white hair, red eyes, and a haunting voice). So obviously Tsukune is freaked the hell out but he decides to stay. The rest of the show is everyone being REALLY BAD at following these 2 simple rules, every other girl falling for Tsukune (some of which become his friends and continue to fight over him through the show although he and Moka are clearly gonna be a thing), and Moka's rosary getting pulled off so that BAMF Moka can save them from whatever idiot monster arrives.
Problems with this show:
- Predictable plot for every episode
- Shows where 1000 people like the same character SUCK
- Score/Music is awful. Openings/Endings are decent.
- Even though the art & plot are super girly, it was obviously done by a male. Boobs and panties EVERYWHERE. I couldn't go a full minute in episode 1 without complaining about the skirts. If you need to censor the image constantly, JUST MAKE THE SKIRTS LONGER.
- Sequel to the series should've just been one long series. And the sequel added a VERY unnecessary character that I want to kill.
- There's a problem when my favorite character is the narrator.
BUT the point I'm trying to make (excuse my rant) is that I finished it today. It's over. I can MOVE ON. YAY MOVING ON FROM AWFUL THINGS. I'll give it props though. The plot for the last 3 episodes was pretty good. Overall had an awful message (similar to Jem with the whole which version do I like even though they're THE SAME PERSON). But the ending and moral end up being pretty cool. Anyway. No more. Onto better things! (Hopefully). Next in the line up: FMA Brotherhood, Naruto SD, and Attack On Titan. ALL AT ONCE!
Also, I'm on a serious Bruno Mars kick. I ADORE the groove in this song.

Devised Theatre
Reason 265: So I went to see a show at my school tonight called Intimate Portraits. Which was amazing. Everyone was fantastic. And the whole thing was REALLY cool. The best part was that the whole thing was made up by the students who took the class and then performed in it. Ah! Harmonies! Stories! Tears! Lots of laughing! And all the love for these kids.
Also it's raining, so I went puddle jumping in my coat & boots
Hence this song (given to me by Harrison)
Lastly, WHO has only 6 more episodes before she has FINALLY caught up with the Naruto Shippuden anime series?! THIS GIRL!!

Old Promises
I finished Sword Art Online
Don't judge me
Reason 194: Guess who I ran into today! Carlos, from middle school! Well, middle school for you, elementary school for me. It's weird, we go to the same school but I honestly never see him. We bumped into each other during dinner, which was pretty cool. The conversation ended with him saying, "You still need to play me in MarioKart!" We legitimately made that deal in 7th grade. I'm glad he remembered. It warmed my heart a little :)
Let's go stargazing sometime!

God's Plan
Reason 193: STORYTIME! So this morning was kind of crazy. I was going to go to bed early but decided to stay up. I'm finally getting ready to go to bed at 2AM, and then Jess walks in the room. Apparently she did not want to wake her roommate Kelly, and we'd told her it was okay for her to come down. Thank God we were awake. She's been sick, as mentioned previously, but getting better. She walks in and says, now that her medication is up, she could feel her throat closing and she wondered whether or not she should call Campus Safety. Long story short, we went to the hospital, only to get medication for the poor darling and make sure nothing new was occurring. So her parents got there around 4. And then they finally attended to her. God's smart. He waited until her parents were present so that all the information could be taken care of properly. Jess stayed with her parents at the hospital, and Campus Safety escorted us back to campus. We got back at 4:30 and were beyond exhausted. I slept in a little later than I usually do because I was so tired. I log onto my email, same as always, and see a message from my teacher for my only morning class saying that class has been cancelled. I collapse onto bed and sleep until past 12, with more than enough time to get to my afternoon class. I would love to just take a look at God's clipboard and figure out how everything just falls into place so perfectly.
The reason I was up so late.
New addiction.
No regrets.

It's Not Easy Being Green.
Especially when you have to go to church.
Nonetheless. GREEN!
Reason 176: Possibilities. So I went to church with Karla and, as usual, Covenant Life Church managed to touch me with an absolutely beautiful and powerful message. The main idea being that, through God, all things are possible. How God loves us so much, that, without any regrets, He gave up His everything because of His love for us. And what the Father is to the Son, He is to us. And how He will never make us suffer through anything we cannot endure. He won't take away all the pain, but it will never be something that we are incapable of facing. And, in the end, the reason we suffer through it is because He knows that it will be a great blessing in the end. It is for us and for our benefit. After all, He knows what's best for us all. Considering the insanity that is the human life, it's a very interesting way to look at something usually so negative.
Every time I go to this church, I walk away wishing I could share the blessing with someone. And it looks like a certain someone might be willing to try :)
One day can we just watch all of these? They're so good, I promise!

AA
Reason 163: Alex & Anime. We haven't had a marathon day for a whiiiile, but it was much needed. Yay playing with Kiba! And Mrs. Susan being the sweetest. And hanging with the bestie. And wow, I'd almost forgotten how good Naruto Shippuden was getting!
Favorite opening so far
