Nose Knows

Day seven of mother nature's gift to you:
ITS THE SEVENTH DAY SO DOES THAT MEAN THAT IT'S THE LAST DAY?
If so, that's enough of a reason to celebrate. If not, keep holding on. It's all about perspective and it's almost over. At least you're not pregnant and thankfully your body is working how it's supposed to.

Here's to seven days, as opposed to 4 like every other normal woman ever. Ah well. TMI.

Reason 354: I don't know why this is what I'm blogging about. I saw Turbo today haha shouldn't that be it? A woman came in. She had a hint of cigarettes in her smell. But it was covered with something else. Some sweet perfume, almost elegant. I swear it reminded me of my grandmother. My heart welled up and I almost got tears. It was just so out of nowhere that the feeling of missing her was almost overpowering. I don't know why, maybe because it had to do with her or maybe because I'm blessed to have my memories, or who knows why else, but that actually was the best part of my day.

I can listen to him forever

"You Can't Be Friends With Ghosts"

Reason 298: My co-worker's daughter is THE. CUTEST. THING. She tried to help, she truly did. She just had so much energy and was constantly giggly and smiley. And she loved to play. She asked me what lemons were, and when I told her, she told me her recipe for lemonade. "First, you have to find the sours. Then you make lemonade. And then you need customers." Seriously. the cutest. And she was watching Brave, both in Spanish and English, basically all day. She brightened the entire store right up.

6 years since my Abuelita Rosa Margarita passed. And she's sorely missed <3
Doing great things for you.

Greatness

Reason 129: Today is my grandmother's birthday. I'll be honest, it's been hard and emotional for me, spending this day without her and having to celebrate my birthday tomorrow without her by my side. But, first and foremost, I'm glad. I'm blessed to have such an amazing woman as my role model. I have a beautiful, independent, elegant, loving, cheerful, strong woman to look up to. In the words of my sister, "To me, my Grandmother was the embodiment of unconditional love". I'll always have her memory. I know she's looking down on me, watching me. And I hope to someday be like her and make her proud of me.

She somehow happened to befriend everyone she met.
