7 Days of Perfection

Bible study today was MUCH needed. I'm just so grateful for this group. They are so smart and show me things I never would have even considered in the text. The word really is such a gift. To know God in this way is an incredible blessing. I will forever be grateful for God's perfect creation, for the darkness and the light in the world and in me, for the ways He asks me to use my light, and for the journey He is taking me through. I will work harder to progress in my seven days of perfection.

Our Own Private Study

Today was our first Theatre Bible Study. Very casual getting to know you/what are our expectations sort of session. But it makes me incredibly happy. I so endlessly appreciate Julianna for opening this up to us. She's right, we have no time at nights to join the regular groups and we miss out a lot as a result. But our desire to pursue the gifts God gave us should not keep us from God. We are so blessed to have her be our leader and peer in our journey. After all, what better way to celebrate our passion for creation than by learning about and honoring the Creator of everything around us?! This is going to be a great group, and I look forward to this experience, both for me an all the members.

Day 1

I guess there's this idea that resolutions die out after about two weeks. Well I think that is ridiculous, and I am going to do all I can to prove that wrong. And that starts with getting your life together on day 1. So today, I read the first three chapters of Genesis. I have a nice little list saved on my computer that tells me what I'm going to read every single day. Step one, done. Let's keep it going.

Reason 202: I'm making my pledge letter! Which isn't a letter at all. It's a giant project to say that I've earned enough points to join Alpha Psi. SO what have I been doing all day? Chillin' with Karla, making a giant Tetris board. Yup that's the plan! I'll show you once it's done. But I'm having the best time with it. YAY CHILDHOOD IN 3-D!
